2 rescued, 2 missing after boat capsizes on Beltrami County lake

Two people were rescued but two men remain missing after a boat capsized Tuesday afternoon on Beltrami County's Blackduck Lake.

UPDATE: Men missing on Blackduck Lake identified as two LF residents

The two men missing after a boat capsized on Blackduck Lake Tuesday, have been identified as Adam Joseph Bobick, 26, and Shawn Allen Ramsdell, 33, both of Little Falls. The two men rescued from the boat have been identified as Justin Daryl Anderson, 21, of Little Falls, and Cody James Krueger, 21, of Royalton.

The search and recovery effort continues, although weather conditions continue to hamper search efforts. Agencies assisting in the efforts include the Lakes Area Dive Team based in Cass County, the Itasca County Sheriff's Dive Team, the Beltrami Sheriff's Office, Blackduck Fire Department and the DNR Conservation Conservation officers.

Tuesday, the four men and a dog were on a boat that was reported capsized about 4 p.m. on Blackduck Lake, approximately 25 miles north of Bemidji. The dog was able to swim to shore and was returned to its owners.

At 1:30 p.m. today, the body of Adam Joseph Bobick, 26, was recovered in 15 - 20 feet of water by divers from the Lakes Area dive team. At approximately 2:55 p.m., the body of Shawn Allen Ramsdell, 33, was recovered by the divers. The deceased were both residents of Little Falls.
The two have been missing since yesterday, when at about 4 p.m., their boat carrying four passengers and a dog capsized on Blackduck Lake, approximately 25 miles north of Bemidji.
The two men rescued yesterday were Justin Daryl Anderson, 21, of Little Falls, and Cody James Krueger, 21, of Royalton.
