Oh please... just drive by the YMCA and you can see adults doing the same thing.(Corner of N Newberry and Market) They are out there day and night and simply turn around to urinate in the bushes.

So what's the difference? They target the college kids because the college kids pay the fines.

The red box in this photograph highlites a man urinating in bushes while 2 others sit and drink: http://www.hitechyork.com/liberalism/beergart...

Having been a resident/home owner in the York College area, I can assure you that there's a difference. Even though one would think people are not brain dead enough to urinate anywhere in public. One would think these idiot kids should at least know that much. Perhaps THAT reasoning should be on an SAT.
The school students were the reason I finally gave up on York City and trying to fix up a home in the college area and moved to the outskirts.

I wish one of the girls was busted for voiding human excretion. That is the kinda girl I would want to party with. I bet Billy "Meter Maid" Wentz was in charge of the arrests. Why don't the police arrest some real crooks?

This has been going on for years and will continue as long as the college is there. While people are being gunned down and robbed in York, a story such as this is worthwhile news? Please..

You're right, it may be old. But it also may be embarrassing enough to make one of these moron's think twice.
There are a few homeowners left there, they could use any help they can get.

Pathetic use of my money I pay York City. Anybody part of the nuisance team should be ashamed of themselves. A crackdown on our youth and the same crap is going on 2blocks from the PO-PO station. I think they are afraid of the downtown thugs. Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic.

Maybe York needs an excrement spotter system. The shot-spotter system works well, at least it tells emergency crews where to pick up the bodies. Mayor brenner will probably ask the state to pay for the excrement spotter system so York taxpayers wouldn't be burdened. After all Brenner is good at asking for money for all kinds of things.

you actually think any of these college kids care that their name was in the paper for "voiding huuman excretion"???

btw ...the verbage is all wrong!!!

"EXCRETION" is the ACT of excreting. "Voiding" can ALSO be loosely defined as "excreting". you can "void excretion". It should be "voiding human excrement" ...

They aren't any different from anyone else getting arrested. First of all they have no business drinking underage. Second, if they do it and get caught, oh well, arrest them, publish their names and hopefully they feel so stupid they won't do it again. Third, they better hope they don't get put out of school. Colleges are really getting tired of this mess. Serves them all right!!! Good Job YCP!!! Keep up the good work. Now go get the rest of the idiots off the streets!!!

As a parent of a York Collge student, I'm grateful that the police are arresting these kids for this....it gives my kid something to think about (hopefully) before he would engage in this type of activity. There is such a thing as respect for the law....and if you break a law you should expect to deal with the consequences. Yes in the general field of crime...this is not a major thing but it certainly seems to be a "necessary" thing that the police need to deal with. Too many people seem to think that some laws are OK to break. Who should decide which law is OK...and should we all think this way....I think not....this is one of the problems with society....not enough accountability for our actions!

most likely the police HAVE to crack down on the rich kids to keep from people accusing them of cracking down only on the poor kids.

They have more enough money to go to college and drink. Last I checked York college was not cheap.

all I was saying is if you ticket one group you have to ticket all groups. Unfortunatly if the police appear to be targeting a poor minority area they get in trouble. I feel anyone drinking and pissing in public should get a ticket and/or arrested. White, Black, Purple, Rich, Poor.

I can't believe this. There are murders being committed so close to this. Maybe the police should be patroling areas and trying to prevent murders instead of young people relieving themselves.
