Typical York County SCUM. It's called hard work assh*le and I am sure they pay plenty in taxes. In all your pathetic years of existence, I am sure you have not worked as hard as they do in just one year. Go to hell you piece of sh!t.

Bel Paese used to be a favorite of mine, but has really slacked off in recent years. Haven't been there in about 5 years, and still don't hear about anything getting better there. Bummer, too. They had some good stuff at one time.

How can you say a place has slacked off in recent years when you admittedly haven't even been there? My family ate there the other night and the food and service were both very good. Plus, although some may not care, they have as good a wine list as you will find in York county.

I agree, Bel Paese is really subpar. The food has very little taste, small portions for the price and I think they microwave instead of cooking fresh, you can taste it in the food. I had their shrimp alfredo, not good and never went back. When I complainded they just brushed it off and never made it right; poor customer service...

When I want any alfredo dish I go to the Roadhouse on E. Market Street which is down the street from them; the difference is day and night...

Bel Paese is a godsend to this area. As a transplant from a major metropolitan area I find that Bel Paese is a breath of fresh air in the York county Mecca of greasy diner food and commercialized chain crap. I still can't believe that there is a line out of the door of the Olive Garden as often as there is. I guess if bubba doesn't leave feeling like he just ate a 50# bag of concrete with extra gravy he just isn't satisfied.

Actually Can Hunter is correct- I know several owners of both Italian and Greek Restaurants and they go back to Italy and Greece to "visit family". I know in at least 2 cases they don't have any family left in Europe. The real reason is to maintain dual citizenship which allows the owner to not have to pay taxes. Ever wonder why some of the Greek Diners in the area close down in the summer for 2 weeks and again for 2 weeks in the winter? If they don't want to pay someone to run it while they are away they just shut down. Examples: Round the Clock Diner, Manchester Cafe.

Then you haven't been to Vincenzo's in Red Lion, Mignano Bros. in Glen Rock or La Cucina in Hanover. Those 3 places have REAL--GENUINE--AUTHENTICO Italiano!

I come to York a few times a year and put Bel Paese at the top for Italian. Nothing else I've tried is close. Never microwaved, cooked fresh, decent service, great menu.

Just saying - Maria is a beautiful woman with a lot of strength. I wish you would see that the inside of a person is what makes them beautiful, and to me she is gorgeous. She is a kind person ... and still a flirt ;)
I can tell you from personal experience with the Ferrante family they do things by the book. They are a classy bunch with a love a passion for life.
Salvatore Ferrante is a modern day entrepreneur ... he goes to Italy to escape taxes????? As you say?... Mr. Ferrante is visiting what family i but there, of course, that is his culture, he is doing business as well I AM SURE OF IT. Importing mid-century furniture to the United States of America does not mean you put it in your back pocket and skip out on the taxes dude.
Check him out on Concord Road next to the jail ... WHERE HE WILL NEVER BE FOR SKIPPING OUT ON TAXES.
Actually dont do that (JUST SAYING) your pockets cant afford the things he has to offer... jus sayin'

Confused.... the business' do not close while vacationing.. the only taxes i'd say they wouldn't be paying are on personal goods that they are spending their money on in Italy rather than America. Weird comment lol
