Actually, the Jews in biblical times were polygamous. The Romans of biblical times were monomgamous, and passed special laws for the Jews just to make their polygamous marriages legal.also as someone that has really read the bible and not just babbling off what someone else has told me all you Christians out there, for my own learning, i would love to know where in the bible it says that marriage is only between one man and one woman, because in all my years of reading i have never seen that passage.
If you are going to stand behind a book to justify your ignorance, read the book, and read what scholars have to say about it.
