To all the people carping about F AND F,would you have the govt. do nothing.Doesn't it bother you, that every year weapons are bought legally in easy access states like Arizona, then make their way into the hands of violent mexican drug gangs.F and F was trying to put a stop to these straw man purchases. When an individual, plunks down 20 grand to buy rifles,he is up to no good, especialy if he has no visible means of support. The NRAs' outrage in this,is totally phony, they have fought all gun laws tooth and nail for years.Arizonas' gun laws, are the type they would like all states to enact. They know exactly what these strawman are doing with the guns they purchase, and care not a fig, what happens afterwards.

I don't think they are complaining so much about Fast and Furious but more about that AG Holder lied and misled congress when asked about it.

Hes not responsible for a random, planned 10 minutes before it happened attack in response to a youtube video.
He is responsible for his response to it. He condemned the action, positioned 2 destroyers armed with tomahawk missles in range of attack of the embassy diplomats were moved to, sent squads of marines and predator drones to protect embassies while stressing the need of support by local governments and began operations to hunt down those involved in the incident in lybia. I think hes doing fine.
The latest intel indicates the vid is a sideshow and these continuing attacks on US Embassies are not spontaneous 'flash mobs,' but pre-planned 9/11 anniversary attacks by anti-American actors and terrorist organizations.

Your partisan bias compels you, I know, to give Obama a free pass on this, but the real truth of it is that Obama and his administration are responsible for ensuring vigilant intel ops anticipate and thwart such attacks BEFORE they occur in the first instance, and to protect US foreign service personnel.

Any un-biased observer must acknowledge he has failed in this responsibility. He and his administration were asleep at the switch and failed to detect these impending threats. This is a bad intel failure on his watch. It is important to find out why this was missed. I for one hope that, if nothing else, Obama will self-examine and correct his woefully poor record of attendance to his intel responsibilities - but experience sadly indicates his NPD will likely preclude this, and we can expect nothing but excuses, deflection, and blaming behaviors from him.

As for "he's doing fine," history will judge that in the context of the larger trail of wreckage of US interests in the region that the Obama administration is leaving in its wake. While this history is yet to be written in full, it seems pretty clear already that Obama will go down in history as the US President that lost the Middle East.

The U.S. has been giving Egypt aid for years it isn't JUST Obama it has been every pres.
How about us giving aid to North Korea?
http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/row/R40095.pdf
We have been doing that for years too.
and there are a lot more countries that hate us that we give aid to.
And a lot of these treaties were made by Rep. Pres.
So what is your point?

Also, I dont want to politicize but , mitt romney's response to the attacks on the embassy and the embassy's words to calm everyone down while under attack, was to ATTACK THE EMBASSY'S WORDS? When youre under attack you attack your country while people are dying for a cheap attempt at political points. Shamefull.
Leaving aside the validity of his criticism, I do agree that Romney unwisely jumped the gun and made a grave tactical error in shooting from the hip like he did. This will do his campaign no good, on a day that otherwise saw Obama's poll numbers return to earth after a 'dead cat' bounce. Pity.

What is your authority and factual evidence for making this calim?

Please explain how ATF managed to keep "better track of the guns crossing over" on the Mexican side of the border under F&F (10 times as many weapons as were ever in play previously, btw) when they were operating without any authorization or co-operation from mexican law enforcement authorities.

I rarely disagree, but the only candidate looking presidential was Romney. obama is a sniveling apologist emboldening our enemies, and clinton is his water girl. I saw a photo of the Ambassador, he was brutalizied, tortured and sodomized, unconcerned about the ambassadors whereabouts that night, obama went to slept after first checking the days sports stats. I mourn for him and his family, but also for our nation that is being destroyed from within, the end is closer than you think. Prepare.

My parents who have long ago left this world, had always said...'THE ONLY WAY AMERICA CAN BE DESTROYED IS FROM WITHIN'
and this was at the time of WWII when our men fought the good fight for our freedoms.

AND you know what? It isn't surprising but, IT LOOKS LIKE THAT IS JUST WHERE WE ARE HEADING NOW.

I feel we need to change the president. Romney will be able to econimically bring us back to where we should be, financially. He has built businesses that are successful, and he can bring America back to being financially sound again.
He deserves that chance to do that. It can't be any worse than we have now........a man who is mistrusted because he still has not proven his citizenry.

Obama has awoken the sleeping this week with his week of failure:
Obama's failure with the unions in Chicago
Obama's failures in Libya and Egypt
Obama's failure saying Egypt is not an aly.

Obama armed the same terroists that killed 4 Americans.
