Your examples are definitely valid and I am sorry to hear about your experiences. Once they get that badge I do believe that some start feeling that because they defend the law that they're also above it. I'm just surprised at the amount of hatred for the police and how strong it is. I don't like them but I don't hate them either.
When I was a little kid I got lost in a forest in Canada and a Mountie finally found me. He was really nice and even carried me because I was so tired. Maybe their just better up north.

For a young child this does not suprise me........ I think they would go far and beyond to help a child and be a hero. But for an adult i have have several occurances i have witnessed that just was NOT wright......

Actually it was B/S someof the unfair and unjust things i have saw and heard of........
The Cops outta be VERY ashamed of themselves.

But what I was wondering about is if it's right to say all cops. I would agree with atleast half or maybe most, but there are some good ones.

I have seen some police officers go out of their way to help people. Then again I have seen some who could care less. It's really not about them as police officers, it's their personality itself. Depends on the type of person they are really. As police officers , they are to uphold the law, so if you break it then I guess they are doing their job. That is their job, it's not like they can let eeveryone get off a ticket, what kind of job would they be doing if they did that? That wouldn't make any sense.

That does sound rather reasonable. I also think that due to the pressures of the job they do get burned out. They may have the best intentions, but sometimes they fall short of the mark. I agree that it does come down to personality, but don't they have a screening system to keep out the power hungry ones?

I dont agree.......... I think the BADGE makes them think they are better than anyone else!!!!!!!!!
They lie cheat and steal and if your NOT a big name they kinda throw to to the side......

Look back to my older post and see what they did or did not do to me... I work in a Hospital and work with the public all day sometimes 16 hours a day and get real burned out ( doesnt mean i don not have to be nice to people and do my job)
I Love my job and take it very seriously..... I think that cops had better take a slow hard look at themself and see what kind of person they want to be and why they became a cop in the first place..........

It is pretty bad that some people have the cops in there back pockets. They will take there word as gold and not do there jobs right. When those people report things, the cops just think they are right and arrest people. Even though it never happened. This is getting out of hand. The cops around here have to open there eyes and do there jobs right. If not they need to get out of the cop buisness and do something else. It seems like we need cops that don't know anyone from Gowanda, just so they can do there job right. When other people call the cops they just assume they are lieing and don't respond. Or they go and investagate and they get put in there pockets. The bottom line is that there ARE some cops out there that really don't want to do there jobs.

Exactly.......... You can file charges on ANYONE!!!!!! and thats crap before charges are filed they need to find out the entire TRUTH before they possibly put the innocent person through all the B/S..........
I am fed up with these Police they are just out for a " Good Job" from there boss or pat-on-the-back.........

Horse crap..... Get off the force and go pump gas.........

But what about when it's on the other side, what about when someone is reporting a lie just for revenge on somebody else. How are they suppose to know who's lying or not, they do have to check it out no matter what. Me To has valid complaints, Kiss my Butt, from looking at all your previous posts, all you do is complain about everyone and everything. All I'm trying to say is that it seems a little unfair to lump all of them in the hate column.

you of all people should know that certain crimes go unsolved to protect certain individuals who have alot of pull in their community. So did they ever figure out who the big fish was
involved in the 2005 drug bust with Mr. Lilly. Big cover-up to this day probably involved politicians, law enforcement, possibly military and I'm sure organized crime. Cough, cough, cough
why me? what the heck would i know?
