I am happy with the VFD. They do a job none of us would. And they do it even for those who do nothing but talk badly about them. I am thankful they give of their time to try and help all if us as best they can.

Anyone who is willing to risk their life to protect others is a hero in my books.

I'm not aware of any lack of respect. If it exists, then its a hardly worth worrying about. I'm not concerned that some may like or dislike an individual. As a whole, the VFD should always garner our respect.
I challenge anyone to turn away the VFD from their burning home because "I don't like that Jim, his eyes are too close together"

(I hope there isn't a Jim on PBVFD, if so, this was not directed at you).

VFD---Very Fine Dedicated, if you don't believe it go watch them work. Inside a burning structure to save a life or property, out in front of the flames in a burning field as they fight to save a home. Nothing safe about their job, and it's one they didn't have to take on. Thanks to all VFDs everywhere.

I have watched the P.B.V.F.D. Grow stronger than ever,I have seen them work as a team to save many lives and homes. Much respect to those Guys and Girls that do what none of us will.
People need to support them with cash donations and service, help the fire department help you.

Twice in the past two weeks I have seen PBVFD work in unison with the Azle FD, Parker Co. ESD1, and our own Reno VFD. A good job was done by all. As a resident of Reno I want to say thanks to all the fire fighters for a job well done. There was a lot of damage done but without the effort of all involved it could have been a lot worse. THANKS!
