It sounds to me like he was distraught, and probably about more than just the lawsuit. From attending many, many municipal meetings, I know that these types of suits are fairly commonplace. And the burden usually doesn't fall on one person. Maybe he wanted to disappear. Sometimes the stress of life makes me want to do that, and I don't have a whole family to support. I hope they find him, so they can get some answers.

Don used to work at Camelback. I thought he might have gone up there since he was in the area, to find some peace and reflection from when life was more simple.

Strange that the car is not found. Don grew up near a quarry and has familiarity with them. Has anyone checked local quarries for tire tracks leading to the edge?
