you cant go to burger king or wherever and eat already prepaired food so i think it is totally stupid that you can buy crawfish with food stamps.

Since I have no say in where MY tax dollars are spent- I'll say I'd much rather see my money buying bread, milk or cheese to feed the poor. If anyone on food stamps thinks you need to be buying crawfish, then you don't deserve my money in the first place.

I much rather see people buying crawfish with fs, than a buggy full of junk food . Speaking of why are people able to buy all the junk food they want with our tax money and people cant smoke cause you cant afford them ??

If poor people like the good food too- every ditch around here is full of crawfish. Go catch your own and cook as many as you like. Then you won't have to worry about buying any.

Could you just imagine how much other food you can buy with the price of crawfish. especially when you pay almost $4/lb. It shouldn't be allowed.

if you were to go to a grocery store and get food from the hot deli you would not be able to by it on food stamps because it has already been prepared or cooked. so what is the difference with crawdads. that is just another way that the citizens of the united states are screwing the government and the ones really in need cant get any help at all.

NO. Food stamps are for those in need. Not for those who want. When I want to take people out to eat I will invite them to come along. Besides food stamps are not supposed to purchase prepaired food. Is this a possible legal issue? It seems like my tax dollars are buying monthly groceries and take out too. WTF!!!

your money aint urs no mo.we are to work to give to the under achievers..we have to make the lazy ones feel good about getting everything for free when they are more able to earn it than most out in the world are able to do yet go out every day and earn it for themselves.read that last part slowww u will get it.we need to stop this madness at the polls. when we keep electing them same old idiots because we 'recognize' there name nothing is going to change. look into a candidates platform and see if there logic lines up with what you believe in and vote that way. not bcos grnpa did and daddy did so i am going to vote this way too. think for ur selves make a change. from parish all way up to govener to president. they all need to be changed.if they dont think like u do.. vote against them its the only way to see any type of change.(that aint all i got to say about that but will stop there.)..gump

let them buy crawfish, i have a problem with them filling up buggies with junk food! government is always talking about our overweight citizens, they are contributing to the problem by allowing alot of junk food to be bought with food stamps. i not saying that they shouldn't be able to buy any junk food, just limit the $ amount for junk food. i think the food stamp program needs a major overhaul.

people on food stamps need help buying food for their families, supposedly. older folks and children need the help, i'm all for it. what chaps my behind is the young folks who could work and just are to lazy to look for a job and want the government ot support them. they laugh about getting a "crazy check" when their is nothing that a good swift kick in the behind wouldn't cure.

Check the sodium content on prepared crawfish! It's not a health food!! Check out the regulations on the Food Stamp program, prepared cooked foods of ANY kind are not supposed to be allowed. How is this happening

high sodium content, low fat content, at least it's good food, not junk (cookies, candy, cakes, chips). i don't think they should buy crawfish with food stamps, hell i don't get food stamps and crawfish are a luxury for me.

Your right! I really don't think the crawfish are legal though, and the "junk" food should NOT be. Besides a person can bake a lot of cake with flour, sugar, milk and an egg!!
