This is great police work and hopefully the courts will keep these men in jail.
Thank the fine officers for a job well done. Vermont is a little safer this Christmas.
Not to disrespect the police, but they pulled off 150 jobs without getting caught and where handed to the police by a citizen who got lucky and caught them in the act and told the police who to arrest.
Vermont is wide open because it's rural and has all sorts of side roads and few neighbors. it's not like we can report every vehicle that drives by that isn't a neighbor or every strange car in a driveway because over 99% of the reports would turn out to be nothing and have the police on millions of wild goose chases.
What the state needs is oppertunity for the young people so they won't screwup their lives. A state full of $8.00 an hour jobs and run down rental trailers isn't offering the young people anything who don't come from legacy families that are part of the good old boy inner circle that take care of each other while exploiting anyone outside the good old boy network and babbling some nonsense like THOSE people need to apply themselves after they got hooked up by uncle charlie or somebody and it handed to them.
