I will start by saying I do know Sam. She was my X husbands Probation officer and had no qualms making his life difficult. She held him (and anyone else she did not care for)accountable when tests for drug use were less then perfect. I would love to say "She is a a victim", "she could never do that in her line of work". That would be a lie. Sam is incredibly smart, can be extremely manipulative and has a built in ability to change any circumstance around her to work in her favor. She has since high school. That said, it is obvious She is NOT a victim. She knew what was going on and should be charged right along with her husband. Just like anyone else who has EVER had to walk in the same shoes.

If a drug test is "less than perfect," then you need to be held accountable. So I guess you are just mad that she did her job.

He is my X-Husband and i am glad she upheld the law in his case. He now resides in SC is :clean: and making a good living and has a great relationship with our two children. perhaps i could have worded it better....
If she holds those in her line of work responsible for the same set of circumstances she herself is now in (and already admitted knowledge of) shouldn't she have to pay for her mistake as well? Don't you believe she should face it head on and learn from it? At least spend some time on probation for her involvement? Something?

To "Not Fair"......did your friend know that he was violating the law? Yes! Did he make a conscious decision to violate it anyway? Yes. Stupid law? Do you really want everyone driving while they are doped out on pot? It isn't you who makes the laws. If you think they are stupid, then make something with your life and run for the state legislature or the U.S. Congress and make a change.

It's time to legalize marijuana
By DARYL PILLSBURY

Saturday July 31, 2010
Of all of the claims in print about marijuana, this is the most revealing, yet the most ignored quote of all: "Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man." -- administrative law, Judge Francis L. Young (1988), Drug Enforcement Administration.

I envy the day when we can say with certitude that freedom, though inconvenient to the powers that be, has found its way into the hearts and minds of our fellow Americans. That day is not now. Instead, we live under an entrenched and tyrannical coalition of prevention, prohibition, incarceration and probation that continues to dominate U.S. drug policy despite the fact that the majority of marijuana consumers are moderate and responsible adults.

We need to recognize that a person is either an adult or they're not. Once society empowers adults, whether young or old, to be responsible for their own actions, no group or authority has the right to prohibit their intrinsic pursuit of commerce and happiness that is not injurious to others. At any adult age, we need close-at-hand, unbiased and accurate information to help inform our choices

Hey - do you think that there are people already driving while "doped out on pot"? YES. Stupid law? YES. Run for the legislature or Congress and make a change? HELL NO - Change can be made without being in one of those seats. All it takes is some lobbying.
And Gary isn't a "friend" - I don't even know him. But what I do know is that he's facing a life sentence for a couple of MINOR offenses, and that, little lawyer is NOT FAIR.

I was supervised by sam back in 04 and 05 and she is willing to give anyone a chance and I was a fuck up back then and attribute Sam not buying most of my bullshit at the time as part of what helped take me out of that life for good and I am grateful.

When it came to UA's Sam used to tell me be honest if you are dirty and I will work with you, lie and you are fucked.

And anyone being on both sides of that situation understands that many of us that have PO's become skilled masters at bullshitting our PO's and it is possible that the Basement was a tool shed hideout kind of place for him and that she really didn't know because she had no reason to go down there and I wouldn't doubt it.

Sam was always "in your face" tell it like it is I mean the article's cute little addition of (explicative) is proof of that and there were times that I couldn't stand Sam because she was always calling me on my shit but this probably has more to do with his past and politics bull.

Snappers getting threatened for staring down kids is a felony now... WTF? Vermont is really going to hell.

hey you are welcome, she is awesome... she'll give anyone a chance and just because she had a rep of not letting people bullshit her doesn't mean she isn't perfect and I don't believe she knew what was up.

I mean my mom never went in our basement growing up and my dad smoked without her knowing all the time. What the heck? to people expect her to put lipstick cameras and GPS trackers in all of his belongings or something?

I can feel for the clarks over the fact they had to protect thier child but whats that got to do with sam allowing her husband to do a crime that she would punish others for? I have to be accountable for my actins why should she be treated any different? She was WRONG whats so hard to understand that she shouldnt be able to continue her job making people abide the law when she cant even respect that allowing pot to be grown is ILLEGAL You people need to stop making it seem ok for her.Does it mean she promotes this behavior?Just because she doesnt smoke it means she is innocent? This is such a insult to the rest of us.I dont think just gary should be held totally responsible she should too.

Sam Clark deserves to be held to the same standards she supposedly sets for her "clients" she was a mean and hipocritical po and she should be in jail since us normal folks go for misdemeanors come on i know she is an officer which is why she should be held to the highest extent of the law and the daughter is back with her cocaine abusing mother now sad but true corrupt bpd!

You really do not know what the hell you are talking about, she is not working in NH and has not even applied in NH, just goes to show that most everyone on here has know idea what, how or when about anything that is going on in her life before or after this.
Get a life move on, take care of things in your life and leave hers alone.

Well I do know that she did know all about it; and she is a citizen and as such should be charged the same as he. and how can she judge and be probation officer to other offenders. She should now have a probation officer and be the same as anyone else. and for that much pot, it should be for distribution charges.

You know, what goes around comes around. she might have helped some, but shes hurt a few too. and among them are family. so she is not so perfect. and you know, when you break the law you should have to pay the consequences. period. she is not exempt. she knew, she was part of it, she has used it, and she has no business being a PO to those who have also. she should be the convicted who HAS a po. period.
