If you care about proud working Americans, then I'd hope you are supporting Obama.
McCain doesn't know what it is like to work a day in his life. Seriously, he NEVER WORKED A DAY IN HIS LIFE.
Barely graduated highschool
Barely graduated Naval academy
Military for a while

Gee Tim, I guess the 5 years Senator McCain spent at the Hanoi Hilton was a voluntary vacation, eh?

Obama's trying to win VA on an Urban vs. Rural basis. He'll win NOVA & Richmond, but he'll be whipped by McCain in Hampton Roads and the rural parts of VA.

When will the Sun and the liberal media stop campaigning for liberal Democrat politicians like O'Malley and O'Bama. Why can't you just report the news like you're supposed to. Print the truth please and stop pushing your liberal agenda.

Virginia is suffering from the same problem Maryland has. A growing number of northeastern liberals who's dream job is "working" for the Government.

Most Virginians have seen this coming for at least a decade. The Virginia GOP has been too busy purging the moderates and has quit reaching out to independents for some time now. This purified version of the GOP is losing influence with each election.

Hey Tim

If you knew anything than you would know that Obama has never held a job in his life besides with the government. Government office is a joke job. It makes me throw up that first year house and senate members make over $160,000 and yet they want to tax us more to share the wealth. Why don't they take a $100,000 pay cut. This is a democracy in this country not socialism...whatever happened to the American dream. Whay should I work hard to pay for those who don't.

How about moving to Alaska? Land is cheap, no big old bad government to get in the way, you can hunt and fish without all of the tree huggers, no sewers or public water, you can talk in tongues with the governor and they give you money (instead of paying taxes). You will fit right in as long as you don't have to take a test in logic or American History. We don't need you in Maryland and my greatest wish is for you happiness. When you get there, get in touch with the Governor's husband;he can get you into swing of things with the separatist movement. We will be just fine in Maryland without you.

I thought Virginia was for lovers! The fact that the demographics of our country are changing- some can't deal with it! e.g.(Republican white males). You have to give Barack prop's for putting together a hell of a campaign. Being from Maryland orginally Virginia has always been less progressive than Maryland. Virginia is changing and so is the rest of the country. If you don't want change vote for Grampy and Caribou Barbie. Gladly, it is good to see people in the red states finally coming to their senses.

Ever do any research on Mc Cain's stay at the Hanoi Hilton? Some prisoners have said he had it pretty good. Got female company, separate sleeping arrangements ect. Kinda like his famous flying record, 3 plane crashes all listed as mechanical failure after preliminary investigation cited "pilot error." If he is such a great military leader how come he didn't make Admiral? Make no mistake, he had a rough time in Vietnam but so did a lot of others. Not sure how his experience there makes him a better American or presidential candidate.

Whats sad about this is that the real Virginia is basically being pushed out as Yankee newcomers, not to mention many illegal aliens and their families, are flooding into the state especially Northern Virginia, the way they destroyed Montgomery and Howard Counties here in Maryland. Just as southern Virginia is the real Virginia, Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore are the real Maryland. We here are also having our politics controlled by newcomer and outsiders especially with Montgomery, PG and HOward Counties.

Obama has been in Virginia from the start. His came wife with General Claudia Kennedy discussing issues of concern to military spouses.

McCain showed up three weeks before the election with Gov. Palin and Rudi to call me a socialist and anti-American and honor Joe the Plumber. I have not heard a single word what they are going to for Joe and Mary the soldier who as Baker and Powell said just weeks ago are dangerously overstretched.

I can't help but notice that you posted this at 2:30 in the afternoon. You must be real busy at work there.

Patriots work for the government. It is called service to your country.

On my last government job, we had a half hour for lunch and no breaks and we were not allowed to surf the net while "working".

Joe Plumber an opportunist who'll go to
shool on his new found infamy.

http://www.angelfire.com/ny/awake/electus.htm...

Whom are we in service to? Its not Joe Schmoos
we care about in spite of Joe "the fake Plumber"
who cares deeply about Israel. How this slime
ball came into prominence was well done item.
They have that Jesus character who committed
suicide for our (not theirs) "unborn innocent con-job sins."
What a crazy concept that has us forever enslaved - brain dead.

Observe the dredging up of folks whom Obama
had either worked with bumped into to paint
as anti (oh no it wont be uttered) tarring.
Haters supreme who will never be questioned
by goys (for certain). Recall the hatred they
had us so programmed against the French. Now
with their Likudliker Sarkozy in the saddle its
lovey lovey frenchie. This character has expressed
his support of his Likudliker Lieberman's McInsane.
Who's gonna utter a word in condemning him for
such interference into US politics. NOBODY.

Palin's policy speech on energy - what did she
say? repeating like a repeater rifle in AL--A-SKA

It's time to promote and award public service instead of promoting careers on Wall Street by giving them more welfare. The first in line for a tax break are our Cops and Firemen in charge of Homeland Security, nurses and teachers, and our soldiers and Veterans.

Sen. McCain should know better. We do not measure success in this country by the size of our wallets, as you do not become rich with a job in public service unless you marry a rich woman like Sen. McCain did. As General Powell said in 1996 during a real Republican Convention, corporate welfare is first in line for elimination.

As General Powell said in 1996, President George Bush, who took us through the end of the Cold War and the defeat of communism. George Bush the statesman, George Bush the statesman and my boss who led us to a great victory in the Persian Gulf. Why isn't Gov. Palin talking about that?

As General Powell said in 1996, Ronald Reagan, the great communicator, who gave voice and image to the power of democracy as the way to a better future for all the people of the world. He will be remembered for many things, but, for me, the soldier, the soldiers like Scott O'Grady who we heard moments ago, President Reagan will always be the president who restored the fighting strength and spirit of America's Armed Forces.

Gov. Palin got her passport last year, and was never in Berlin. All I hear from her is Joe the Plumber. Gov. Palin, how dare you use Reagan's name. You have nothing in common with the party of Reagan.

There is no real Virginia or real Maryland. Last time I check Americans were Americans. Baltimore City, Columbia and Silver Spring is just as real Maryland as Western Maryland and the Eastern Shore. I live in Seattle and the Puget Sound economy props up the "Real Washington state" on the other side of the Cascades. Don't be ignorant and drink the "Cool aid" Grampy and Caribou Barbie is giving you.
