Should i close my Gap Card?Recently when I was shopping at Gap, the cashier asked me if I wanted to open a Gap card. Being that I had opened something that i thought was similar at American eagle (which was free, and just gives you discounts on things) I said sure. Little did I know, I was then giving her my credit card number, driver's license number, and social security number (I know, I sound incredibly naive). Will it charge me anything to have this card? Should I cancel it at all? And if I do will it hurt my credit report? The thing is she said it hasn't been approved yet... But it could possibly be approved in the next coming weeks.
Thanks in advance!
