"A mother and her 13-year-old daughter were robbed Sunday evening while walking home for a store."

Who are the editors at msnnbc4 exactly? Reread this sentence and see if one can spot the obvious error? Congradulations if one spotted 'walking home for a store' which one can safely assume should be from not for?

Again no description of suspects or victoms!18 years old 5'6 with a birthmark...

What is up with you and trying to correct other people's spelling and grammar? There was a typo, big deal. Have you read any of your post? I don't think you know what punctuation is or what it's for. Commas and periods will do a lot for a sentence. And what does “congradulations” mean, or did you mean to put “congratulations?”

If you feel the need to call someone out on their spelling/grammar, you should REALLY make sure your post are correct. It makes you look like a big idiot when you criticize others for the same mistakes you are making.

One more time bloggers do not get paid to write and edit and nbc4 and msn editor and writers do. Do you understand the difference between hired professional news outlets and a common blogger? More than likely not but try hard. Focus and try to understand that bloggers are not paid to edit and write. Editors and writers at nbc4 and msn are responsible for ensuring basic quality controls so that content is not questionable as well.

Are you not the one who proudly claimed she leaves her 8 year old alone after school for hours and sees nothing wrong with such parental care? Sad in deed.

More than 30 people died in the worst weekend of violence this year in the northern Mexico state of Chihuahua, the scene of daily drug gang turf wars, police said Monday.
Heavily-armed assassins killed nine people in separate incidents late Sunday in the border town of Ciudad Juarez, local police said, following the slaying of 21 people the previous night -- including a baby and a four-year-old boy -- at a village dance in the town of Creel.

Drug-related violence in Mexico has killed 2,682 people since the start of the year -- nine more than in all of 2007 -- with nearly half in Chihuahua state, daily El Universal reported Saturday.

Ciudad Juarez -- across the Rio Grande from El Paso, Texas, where local drug gangs are battling the powerful Sinaloa cartel -- has the highest murder toll, with some 800 so far this year, according to an AFP count.

Federal authorities have deployed more than 36,000 soldiers across the country since early 2007, including 2,500 in Ciudad Juarez, in an effort to combat drug trafficking and related violence.

But the murder rate has climbed dramatically in two years, from 1,410 in 2006.

Seriously, the lack of professionalism displayed by NBC News is astounding; promoting the deterioration of written text in news by hiring those that that lack basic skills in grammar and syntax. Yet we continue to consume their flawed product. I say we all stop reading this garbage. Who's with me?

How much money was taken in the robbery? I can't understand this pennyante stuff. Why not rob an armored car or a bank or something worth while? Rob a woman and girl on the street and you might only get enough money for a hit and maybe only a pack of gum or something. Hit the big time and get enough money to buy enough drugs to go into business, hire dealers, hit men, and even a few good weapons.
No these dummies just want to get high. They could be businessman and contribute to their communities but no they just want a snort or needle. Being a robber requires some smarts if you are going to make the best of the profession.

I don't recall saying I leave my 8 year old home alone for hours . But I am the one that said a parent can decide if their 12 year old can be home alone.4124

It doesn't matter if you get paid or not, when you criticize someone for whatever, it makes you look like an idiot when you are making the same mistake. Is that hard for you to understand?

What are you talking about? What awakening scream thing? Just make sure you take your meds tonight.

And by the way, the navy didn't lose my number, I retired from the navy after 23 years.

Washingtonians and educated Metropolitian individuals all know about the sale of the famed statue called the Awakening and mistakeningly called it the Scream which is actually a painting.

23 years in Navy and the very best come back you can manage is to accuse others of being on medication when it is you that does not understand.

So when you joined the Navy were you a US citizen?

Let's recap the conversation.

You found the need to criticize someone's grammar, I asked what's up with you doing that when your grammar wasn't so good. You said they were hired editors/writers and shoud do better, I said it doesn't matter, you look like an idiot correcting someone with mistakes in your post. Then you make some comment about "Better check what you wrote not usually wrong except that awakening/scream thing and calling ballou another school in ne ahh and first fight with Sam who is a good guy". I asked what awakening/scream thing are you talking about?

Oh, I see, let me repharse my last question. What awakening/scream comment are you talking about? I've never made a comment about the Awakening. And I have to admit, I stopped reading after the awakening scream part.

I say you need to keep taking your meds because of your post, not just this one. Even though I haven't been commenting in this forum very long, I have notice that you tend to post things that are not relative to the topic, e.g. DC driver license story.

As far as when did I become a citizen of the US. That happened the day I was born. And before you can mention my parents, they were born in the US and the same for my grandparents and my great grandparents.

Again with false allegations, assumptions, and misinterperting what was written. 23 years in the US Navy and this is your very best retort?

FYI Racist rants are not part of any story line on NBC4 ever and yet are every where on nearly every story line and yet you chose to attack my disdain for the poorly written and edited nbc4 msn news stories?

Bloggers are not paid to blog and do not need to be at the same or equal level with the nbc4 msn news professionals that are hired and paid for their expertise. In fact check most posts have errors, broken English even, and many typos. If you do not like what is posted skip it but trying to control what is written here is crazy at best.

Good luck with leaving your young children home alone. Sad but understand many are unable to afford proper care of their children they are unable to afford on their own.

3/4 of welfare cases are woman with children. Welfare has created generations that depend on and even expect hand outs, food, and shelter rather than promoting personal responsibility and independence.

Sad to hear a 23 year Navy retired vet wanting a hand outs inorder to provide day care for her young children or having to leave her children at home alone for unable to afford a baby sitter even for a few hours. Really troubling in deed.

Perhaps family would be willing to help you amd your children.

Sad to allow lower quality and standards for nbc4 msn story lines to be such that grammer, syntax, and mispellings are obvious and every day and would like to know who writes each article and who edits these articles before posting.

Read The DRUDGE first and then pick and chose differing news outlets. Breitbart is rather excellent news source. Simply depending on any one news source and one will never know what is happening in the USA or in the world.

Researchers from the UNAM considers erroneous reports on global climate change
Auguran breve era del hielo en 2010 Auguring brief era of ice in 2010

Global warming should include other kinds of factors, such as volcanoes and human action, but also outside the solar activity, said Victor Velasco, the Institute of Geophysics.

An expert from the National Autonomous University of Mexico predicted that in about ten years the Earth will enter a "little ice age" which will last from 60 to 80 years and may be caused by the decrease in solar activity.

Victor Manuel Velasco Herrera, a researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the UNAM, as argued earlier during a conference that teaches at the Centre for Applied Sciences and Technological Development.

In the event, the specialist in remote sensing systems said that the recent rupture of the Argentine Perito Moreno glacier, unusual for having produced a full austral winter, was not due to global warming.

The event was due, he said, a natural process caused by temperature and precipitation of the river.

Velasco Herrera described as erroneous predictions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), pursuant to which the planet is experiencing a gradual increase in temperature, the so-called global warming.

The models and forecasts of the IPCC "is incorrect because only are based on mathematical models and presented results at scenarios that do not include, for example, solar activity," said the specialist also in image processing and signs and prevention of natural disasters.

The phenomenon of climate change, he added, should include other kinds of factors, both internal, such as volcanoes and the very human activity, and external, such as solar activity.

Again find these excellent story lines on the DRUDGE!
