LoL, wait till people find out about some of the money embezzling that has gone on at Northcrest over the past few years. The previous so called CEO and his clown posse was taking a little more home than a paycheck. #CrookedA$$People

Was the reason for the cutbacks last year?

Was a recent employ under contract where I could not say anything due to legalities. Now, Im Free, just wait and see. Its sad though that this out of towner who could care less about the Hospital or town ran off some of the originals who had built this place into a pretty darn good little hospital, and the one who came in ruined it in no time. Ex: Northcrest hires a company and spends nearly 5 million on a computer system, other companies bid at a fourth of the price but are not selected. The people who chose the company for the upgrade begin to "out of the blue" have all expenses paid trips, cruises, and lets call it a Fun Card or in reality a credit card that basically has no limit cause we will call it a business trip. Wonder where raises went? Wonder where cutbacks come from? Time is about to tell, dont know if anyone will be in trouble but you will see how spiteful and willing to sale their sole some of the people in this town are for a free lunch and a 3 day cruise.

Is there a current investigation of this going on. This is so sad if true. A lot of people lost their PTO time due to the cutbacks last year and some even lost their jobs. If greed and dishonesty is the cause of this I hope those responsible have to pay for it,

I know that Raines misused alot of funds. His little followers that he forced to agree with him or lose their jobs are a joke. As an ex employee there I cannot Believe his actions. Employees and Physicians here for 25-30 years realized his dangers and left. His little crew who most have no education put in leading positions, Are You Serious. The smart physicians and ones who truly cared for their patients left this Nuthole. I was there for 14 years and was in shock who made the decisions. I mean we had insurance salesman who had their votes persuaded by free food, wines, and small trips. Where in the world does an insurance salesman make calls on a Hospital decision, one who has NO MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE AT ALLLLLLL.

You may have accepted being screwed over for the rest of your life but I will not. They say that punishment is not a deterent to crime. Well we will not know until we punish someone hard enough. There was a time when people were shot to death or hung the same day they were found guilty. If Mr. Raynes or the others mentioned in this are guilty of mishandling the finances of the hospital then an investigation should be launched to determine whether this is true or not. I would recommend using an outside auditor / investigator for this and not an internal investigation by the hospital itself.

I heard this rumor right after Scott Raynes left and the CFO was fired. I asked a couple of people who should know and they sort of shrugged it off. The next thing to happen was employee lay off, stopping PTO hours, not putting money into the retirement accounts, cutting annual performance raises, etc. because Scott had left the hospital in a bad financial situation.
Scott Raynes was rude, vulgar and drank too much. He should have left the first time he resigned, but he was a money guru, according to some of the board members. I hope whoever he works for now isn't so easily fooled.

Don't hold your breath waiting for our drunk district attorney John Carney and his crooked friends to investigate. We need to send him packing and put another man in his office to clean up the corruption. I hear some guy from Clarksville is running against him. He has my vote whoever he is.

Why didn't the board of directors know about this or did they and did nothing? And to answer a previous questions, of course the fine mayor of Robertson County is on the board....he can go on trips, eat the finest, drink all he wants, and doesn't have to pay for any of it. I bet the way he and his wife both guzzle the booze, it's costing a pretty damn penny. That man is as tight as dick's hat band.

I know he might be tight in many respects but has always enjoyed fine liquor and spirits. He does not drink the cheap stuff. You couldn't fit all the whiskey and scotch he has consumed in a 36,000 gallon rail car. Don't get me wrong I don't think he is drunk on the job, just the rest of the day and on weekends. He and Raines were "thick as thieves".....

True, he only drinks the fine stuff - but only when someone else pays for it. He shouldn't even be on the board a Northcrest, that is a huge ethical issue, but so is most of the things he does, I am very disappointed in is conduct.

I keep hearing about these trips and liquor and perks to these individuals. Are they paying taxes on these things when they receive them?

I thought any business had an Ethics Committee to prevent these perks from exceeding a set dollar amount. CEOs and team players must be exempt.
