I know in the larger scheme of things, football is no big deal. All the more reason to wonder why Oregon invests so much in a cheesy and flashy college football team that consistently talks big and ultimately embarrasses itself on an annual basis.

The University of Oregon appears foolish and gaudy with all the money spent to no end. Laughable uniforms, changing often, as if designed by a bipolar tweaker. Thugish scholarship athletes crying on the sideline like spoiled brats when they get their asses handed to them by true scholar athletes do not call to mind Steve Prefontaine, or Dan Fouts. Odd Ducks, these California and SEC rejected and imported athletes brought by Mr. Knight's lucre. Back to the drawing board. LOL!

So very true. Year after year the cries of unfair rankings and respect not GIVEN is always proven to be noise in November. Nike money can't buy everything. They buy this soft schedule and pray that they are able to squeak through the conference games only to have history repeat its self again and again. Oregone is a fair team just not National Championship material.

I lived up there for three years. The folks are very delusional about their Odd Ducks and see no fault in the hyped up flash vanishing annually. As the scores run up against Portland State, the braggadocio increases. Once, when they met reality head on, they would come up with lame assed excuses. However, this year I notice a certain reserve in their rationalizations. Surely, many must question their idiotic attachment.

I saw the big bad nike bitches bawling like little split tails and hugging each other down in Tuscon. Oregon Ducks had their 4-5 years of Nike outlays, trying to purchase a national title. It just did not work out. Sorry, Oregonians.
