Thats sad! Why cant ppl just be neighborly and let him go down that road? What is it going to hurt? I hope he got a really good price for it , being he cant even get to it.

Get yourself an attorney. No land can be land locked within the commonwealth... meaning, when you go through the right channels, someone will have to grant you access. For the future, "buyer beware"! Purchasing raw land should be done with the guidance of professionals who can review public documents and raise questions.

True... doesn't mean that you can't gain legal access. You need to consult with the right people.

I would think that needs to be negotiated before the sale

I agree, that would be a wise move. Explore all options, do some research, saves alot of aggrivation in the end, I guess.

You are wrong. Take a basic law course.

Oh, are you an attorney? How about a explanation with references. Could you tell us what law course we should take? It sounds to me like the Township is lazy and like most local govt in this area they want to pawn it off on a neighboring governing body.$500,000 for a 300ft road, so that is why the taxes are so high because Haycock is run by IDIOTS!

Is there a PA statute that states land can't be landlocked?
