On another subject, Springfield's Landers Theatre is reputed to be haunted and the internet is full of references to that.

My wife and I did a couple of shows there as costumers. The place is a treasure and everyone should make a point of seeing a theatre show or opera performed there.
I recommend comedies for both. You need to be entertained.

That is a historic old place, haunted or not.
It somewhat resembles Ford's Theatre in DC.

I recommend an EVP experiment outside the stage door, in the alley on the left there. But do your own research on it...

Dogman, I have been inside and outside the Landers Theatre. It is a jewell and it does have haunts. Got a few good pics from up in the balcony. A face peeking around a chair looking at me with curiosity. Did EVP at the front door. Saw a fine play there. Regards.

We are having Ozarks Paracon at the Shrine Mosque April 6th if any of you would like to join us. A full day of speakers, vendors, raffle and special after hours investigation. We are asking for food donations for Ozarks Food Harvest and part of the proceeds are going to Shrine Hospitals for Children.

Afraid if I put a link it might be against the rules?

I see that you are from Carthage. Have you ever spent the night at the Grand Avenue Bed and Breakfast? I have done so 2 times and experienced the cigar smell. Kendrick Place is good. We also researched the Carthage Battlefield fought on July 5th, 1861.

I don't know why it says I'm from Carthage? Actually Webb City. My friend's team is very involved with Kendrick House and she wrote about it in one of her books. She is speaking at the Paracon. I don't really investigate too much.

My partner and I spent the night recently at the Walnut Street Inn / Springfield, Missouri. Beautiful victorian home built 1894. We did come across a lovely ghost with last name of McCann. According to EVP investigations, she died in the home, in the living room. My partner / girlfriend and I decided to put down our advanced technologies and ask questions out loud in our room. We were hearing, more often than not, a spirit voice response, very faint. The voice would sometimes be a clicking noise, a chirping noise, a whispering voice, or a high pitched female voice. If anyone has not tried this, may I suggest you giving it a try if you are at a historical location. You will be pleasantly suprized at what you may hear. There were a few times that we could actually understand the spirit response. Most of the time we could not understand it. Discoveries made with natural senses. Unique!

Here is the story of the psychic vision I posted over 10 years ago on airalex.com .
At the present time, I don't have any pages up about the 3MW.
I went to help a friend's elderly mother move some boxes. I brought my 9 year old son alon because he is a good worker and there was an attic to deal with. Anyway, when we arrived, the boxes had already been moved, but the lady invited us for some cold iced tea.
I knew her son, who had recently died, and I mentioned him to her. She thanked me and said it was a hard blow but she was prepared because she had had a "vision" about it. She saw him dead, standing on his feet. That's how they found him, with a wire around his neck.
That's the first I'd heard about her being psychic.
Then she mentioned having a vision about the three missing women, and saw the place where they were and described it.
She said they were in something like a cistern, which is a type of well, and was in a large triangle-shaped field or area of some kind.
She told us she had become psychic after a near-death experience when she had pneumonia. she described that whole experience, also. She said that she could feel a vision coming on because usually she would pass out, or at the least, feel very weak and sickly when it happened, and she would make her way to a chair or the bed.. She would go places and see things and it would seem like hours, but when she'd come to it was usually only a few minutes..
So one day she felt something coming on and the next thing she knew, she was standing out in the country on a fine sunny day, green grass, blue skies and white puffy clouds. And she saw Suzie Streeter in a white dress with small flowers printed on it. like pink roses. she was barefoot. She was smiling and pleasant, but never spoke to her. She said she knew it was Suzie from the pictures and by "that place on her mouth" touching her face with her fingers.
Suzie showed her the place where they were, and then instead of going right to it, she took off walking,at a brisk pace, and gestured for her to follow. They began walking the perimeter of the triangle-shaped field She said she had a hard time keeping up, and kept asking Suzie how much farther? And Suzie would just smile and gesture Come ON!
to be continued

Dogman,
I remember your original page on the 3MW and have never forgotten it. It's what first got me interested in the mysterious 3MW case many years ago, and it had some great illustrations. I firmly believe in the power of psychic visions, whether in the dream state or awake state. I wish you had that page up again...it was great. I am one of many who will always wonder about the case and I'm still hoping for justice after all these years.

Hi Alex,

I think it's time that you bring back your 3MW page.:-)

In regard to Suzie being barefoot in the vision: To go barefoot is a sign of great distress (Isaiah 20:2) or of a great calamity having fallen on a person (2 Samuel 15:30).
