the story on the trailer is that a man killed his wife and 2 daughters and then killed himself. if you walk through it you will see blood stains all in the carpet. I know this for a fact.

It's off SR-55. Follow the Bluegrass Parkway towards E-Town, and there is an exit at SR-55. Follow that towards Springfield, and Valley Hill will be on the right after about 10 to 12 miles.

Take Bluegrass Parkway south to the Bloomfield exit. This should be SR-55, and follow it south towards Springfield. Valley Hill is along 55 about 10 - 12 miles down on the right side (5 miles before Springfield).

was there yesterday and the remains of this trailer was there, looked as though it burned. First time ever been just happened to see it while looking for the donkey tree and passed it. Went back and walked to the top. Very strange and so was the donkey tree. Both is a must see.

My understanding of the trailer is this. I seem to recall someone saying years ago that Iona Wright (who has now past on) was planning to stay there. Although she owned the land, she lived in Louisville.

When I first went there in 1996, the place was far more attractive and mysterious. Over the years, that effect from nature surrounding the hill was replaced by structures far less attractive. In that vain the trailer was a crowning achievement.

At some point over the past few years it burnt down (not sure what happened there). Thankfully all its remains are now gone.

i live within walking distance of the shrine and have never had any strange experiences from being there, to me its just a place to be at peace and clear your mind and its far from scary
