Bill Brady is a political hack and he lies like the best of them. For a millionaire to talk crap about reducing the minimum wage scale is not only insulting but vulgar in it's way of making people who earn the minimum wage feel unimportant.
Quinn is also a political hack who sold his soul down the river to be Blago's running mate. He may be a nice guy but he is no governor. Both parties are parasites and thumb-twidding do nothings. Maybe it's time for a woman to be governor.

Quit with the Rove-inspired "Democrat Party" shit you f-ing moron. And Brady will bring a fresh face IF you hate medicare, the minimum wage, the dept. of education, police departments and love giving tax breaks to millionaires and telling women what they can do with their bodies. No, Brady is a cretin.
Honest to God, about 75% of the replies here show JUST how f-ing stupid or bigoted the right is.

SO easy on this vote. Brady is, and has been, a disaster. Our state is bankrupt, and yet we are over-taxed already. Change is needed!

And the Right has the belief of God given enlightenment and is the chosen ones by the Lord himself to make everything okey-dokey. Every blasted election the Right drags out that they know what God wants for the US voter and speaks in his name. The party of "No" is also the party of the elitist racists with the permanent idea that making war is good for business and using vast quantities of minorities and poor whites as cannon fodder to further their big business buddies ambitions of wealth. Keep alienating those minorities and poor whites & you will fond yourselves in the minority.

If people would go to Lex Green - Libertarian's website you will see what the man and the party actually stand for. Many have the misconception that the Libertarian Party is filled with liberals, just the opposite. Libertarians are actually much more conservative and follow the US Constitution to the letter. They truly do stand for smaller government, and not just talk about it during the elections. Republicans and Democrats have in the last 30 years in this state, increased the budget, taking more money from individual tax payers, which also costs the state money. Please take the time to read through his stances on many top issues, and see if those are not your own stances. Remember it was Democrats and Republicans that got us into this mess. We need "real change". http://www.electlex.com/index.php

I look at it this way, whats its going to hurt to change the faces who lead this state. It makes absolutely no sense to vote the same ineffective people in time and time again simply because he/she is from "your" political party of choice. How does anyone expect things to change for the better, if the same person who has done little to improve the state's situation is voted back in. I will give my choice for any of the political offices one chance. Next election, if they have done little to make things better, they will not get my vote again. I just cannot understand why people think they should vote party lines. Thats stupid..vote for the person, not the party!

It is time for a change. I will vote for Brady even though many years ago I truly liked Quinn. He has done a terrible job. Part of it is not his fault because he did not have much to work with. Illinois is broke. The Democratic machine especially out of Chicago has run it into the ground. I believe that the State legislature and the Governor should always be from two different parties as a way of checks and balances. That is the way it was when I lived in Montana and it worked for years. Everything went sour when they had one party running everything.
