Does anyone wonder if DDN will be putting a front page article in next weeks paper about the new board members Backruptcy. Yep, chapter 7, while living here in wonderful Springboro and recently. Will she have a good excuse. Funny that three school board members are having financial problems because I thought Springboro residents were rich and can afford more taxes. It looks like someone thinks so look at the number of times we have been extorted for more taxes by the school district. Another levy vote is slated for Tuesday night. All you rich people need to go and tell the struggling families exactly why you think they can shell out more. Please enlighten me, please please.

Wow where do you get your info. Oh ya DDN
Let me emlighten you. SS has minimal or 0 cost of living increases these days. Now I know you are a teacher. The schools employees are getting at minimum an average 2.5% increase every year even when they tell us they have a salary or raise freeze and inflation was negative last year. New students means 20 for this year and 120 for last year. New kids = more taxes by State, federal and local income taxes. Yes the state gives us money for each student. State funds are based on a per student so when student #' go up even if it by 20 the state funds go up. Really you need to get educated greg.

Did the Kohls surrender their large estate as the DDN reported they would be? Surrendering the large home and 1 vehicle? Did that ever happen?

Nope. Must be living there for free (you and I are actually paying the tab). Real fiscal responsibility. She can't manage her families finances, but thinks she can manage a 50 million dollar school district budget. Get a job, Dr. Kohls.

Gee, we also have a school board member who has a hard time paying his back taxes, and gee again, we have a school board member who previously went bankrupt running a business in franklin. Get a job, Springboro School Board Members.

What BOE member is behind on his back taxes? Only males are Anderson, Kruse, and Miller. I'm not aware of any current BOE members with a failed Franklin business? Are you referring to Kelly Kohls personal home nutrition business maybe? I believe the current BOE members are gainfully employed except for one who stays home with young children while her husband supports their family and the other, whom this article is written who is not employed and whose family had almost $1 million dollars of debt. Springboro School fiscal watchdog; WOW! The question still hasn't been answered. Did the home and car get surrendered? We all know Kohls and her friends blog here. Why not answer a simple question?

Maybe YOU should check your facts before shooting off at your favorite target.

Someone says thecfiling was due to high mediacal bills. Doesn't Bill Delord offer employees health care? Especially upper management? Geez what kind of an employer would stiff workers like that. Are you gonna support that and buy from there?

Hilarious! You know you're wrong. Everything you posted was inaccurate and you can't name names. Dude! There are only 3 male BOE members. Which one are you claiming is behind on his taxes? And which BOE member has a bankruptcy from a failed Franklin business? Only one with a failed business appears to be the one self employed nutrionialist who already filed bankruptcy with documented debts of almost $1 million! And you think she's my favorite target? You're not even close! I'd like to see your response to your recent allegations. Who are you accusing my friend?

When you spend more than you have, ala "deficit spending" you run the risk of finical trouble.

I wish someone would explain this to Obama....

But "S*IT HAPPENS" and bankruptcy is nothing to be ashamed of. Hopefully you LEARN from it.

In most homes, both husband and wife work, to live otherwise is a luxury.

We haven't taken a real VACATION in a long time, other things are more pressing.

But once you make your bed.....

I STILL VOTE AGAINST ALL SCHOOL LEVIES. UNTIL THE SCHOOLS COMPLY WITH THE OHIO SUPREME COURT RULINGS I WILL CONTINUE TO DO SO.

Cut up those credit cards, those things will get you.

Agree. Sometimes $h!t happens but don't tout yourself as a fiscal watchdog while you accuse others of mismanging a budget. Fact the Kohls family took a vacation to Mexico about the same time the bankruptcy was filed. Does that sound like this family was trying to responsibly manage their finances? Responsible people prioritize. You're also right when you say it often times take two working parents to maintain a certain lifestyle. Last I heard she was no longer working as a part time instructor for personal reasons. Not sure if that's factual but I would hope they are all looking for work to pay back debt.

I thought the Ellis family had previous financial issues due to medical bills for a sick child and not because the owned a biz in Franklin that went bankrupt. That beind said all knowing one - which one of the BOE members do you claim is behind in HIS taxes?

The more important question is:

Are the Kohls paying their property taxes?

You people need to get a life and mind your own business. It is quite obvious the only reason you are sooo interested in kelly Kohls is the fact she has more balls than any other school board member in standing up against the teachers union and your agendas.
