Russia produces more oil than anyone else on the planet.  The United States is in third place.

Russia is the number two oil exporter in the world.  The United States is forced to import more oil than anyone else in the world.

Russia produces more natural gas than anyone else on the planet.  The United States is in second place. Today, Russia supplies 34 percent of Europe's natural gas needs.

The United States has a debt to GDP ratio of 101 percent.  Russia has a debt to GDP ratio of about 8 percent.

The United States had a trade deficit of more than half a trillion dollars last year.  Russia consistently runs a large trade surplus.

The United States has an unemployment rate of 7.4 percent.  Russia has an unemployment rate of 5.4 percent.

Ha ha ha! Your link says Fox News and Sciene in the same line. The fact that just reading the wording of the link you provided makes me laugh speaks volumes. Now if your way is so popular, I wonder why your agenda got smashed like a tinfoil hat by voting America? So let's review. The overwhelming majority of Americans disagree with your political agenda and an overwhelming majority of scientists disagree with the oil lobby propaganda you so gleefully gulp down. Get it right, truck driving weather expert. You had your big day in the sun and the great country of the United States of America told you and yours to go bye bye. Now keep your kookie fringe group oil cult theories away from the children, while we continue to dig ourselves out of your stupidity.
Is that what America said? I seem to remember America saying enough is enough with these Socialist liberals that took over 1/6 of our economy all for the government. We want new leadership in 2010. We want a Republican led house, and that's what they got.

They survived the 2012 elections as well. This on top of all the smaller governments like states and state reps that the Republicans faired well in.

As DumBama approval ratings sink lower and lower, the Republican Congress is inching higher and higher. It seems to me that America now realizes the Socialist experiment is a failure; something we Republicans have been warning about for years.

Yes, I hate to burst this bubble of yours that the GOP is all washed up. But you have to learn from the past. This isn't the first time liberals have made that claim. In fact, they've been making that claim for decades trying to brainwash people into believing their BS every time Democrats happened to have a somewhat favorable election.

Now those DumBama supporters are losing their healthcare or paying much more for it. Some are having their hours cut down from 40 hours per week to 29 to escape Commie Care. I'm also sure there is some buyers remorse with those people paying those high gasoline bills every time they fill up.

You are in luck though. We have Republicans that are more concerned about the country than they are the politics. If I were a Republican Congress person, I wouldn't allow DumBama to hold off on the employer mandate until after next election. I would make sure it goes into effect next month and watch businesses crash and burn. That would ensure a sweeping win for the GOP come next election.

Not to mention that the American use of the English language & its construction is one of the easiest to make jokes of in many ways for for the English major.
I was making a joke. It wasn't really about English, but logic. A "false predicate" is a premise that is incorrect. So when xxxrayted said:

That's a false premise, because it didn't happen that way, so you can't draw any conclusions. My joke was pointing this out by also using the false premise "If you (xxxrayted) had gone to college..."

If you are interested, this explains the concept in more detail (and offers another joke!):

You mean the GOP Congress that all Americans know are willing to do anything to make Obama seem ineffective? At the cost of this country I might add. Perhaps you are just clueless to what goes on outside of your fetid propaganda bubble. For instance, you guys are the only ones who see invisible commies hiding behind every corner. Sarah Palin can see Russia from her porch. We can see the fat check from the Koch brothers in her mailbox. Thought you guys learned after Red scare part 1, that smart voters aren't buying it. Also, when you get one tiny fragment of your predictions right, then we'll look at you as anything other than a racist and greed driven oil lobby agenda. We'll let you know when that happens. Until then, keep your Tea Bagger emailed newsletters away from anything people would call facts. Besides, how stupid would someone have to be to think people voted for Obama because of "free phones"? How completely clueless would a person have to be to want to replace government with big corporations? How utterly mindless would someone have to be to think FEMA has death camps? Look, FEMA is rescuing those poor folks hit by the effects of climate change in the historical flooding in Colorado. It must be so they can indoctrinate them into Obama's "secret army". You guys are morons and the agenda you mindlessly follow proves it. I like how your response to me posting the FACT that tropical disease is now showing up in America is "Only a few people died". How completely desperate you and yours must be.

I agree. We need alternative energy now. Too bad the right has held that up at every chance. The right has kept us chained to the middle east for decades. Strange that the unemployment rate is the same as when Reagan was in office. Don't remember any cries of tyranny back then.

That fact that they knowingly distorted the news was never disputed.
Do you have an example of either NBC or ABC being taken to court on similar charges?

Your constant lies such as " Sarah Palin can see Russia from her porch" simply prove your lack of character and intellectual emptiness:

The phrase “I can see Russia from my house” will ring in America’s ears for a while. This phrase evokes feelings associated
with Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee. However, it is ironic that such a phrase is synonymously associated
with a woman who did not voice it. Ms. Palin never declared she could see Russia from her house; rather, Tina Fey uttered this phrase on
Saturday Night Live (SNL) in her debut impersonation of Palin.

"For example, it became evident that many people thought Sarah Palin actually said “I can see Russia from my house” regarding foreign policy in an interview (Wilmouth). Though Palin did mention the proximity of Russia to Alaska, this line was actually delivered by Tina Fey while impersonating Palin."

Yet, you can stand in Alaska and see the Siberian coastline. Compare that to these beauties which go uncovered by both comedians and the media:

"The Panama is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in. Now that will be finished in 2015. If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida."

"I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go."

"When I meet with world leaders, what's striking -- whether it's in Europe or here in Asia..." -mistakenly referring to Hawaii as Asia while holding a press conference outside Honolulu.

"We're the country that built the Intercontinental Railroad."

"It was also interesting to see that political interaction in Europe is not that different from the United States Senate. There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian, wheeling and dealing."

"And in terms of the Maldives [sic] or the Falklands, whatever your preferred term, our position on this is that we are going to remain neutral."

That geographical moron is sitting in the White House today.
