“I will not pay to see two new Oscar winners”
Am I a hateful ungrateful sinner for not paying to see these two new message-movie Oscar winners? Not that this is bravery, but I shall save my matinee money by not wasting it on these two new message movies, the one about a homosexual hero and the other one about slavery.
Years ago, I paid off my final fair share of slavery and racist reparations to Eddy, one of my black (former) coworkers, at a break-area coffee machine; whereat I generously gave him my remaining pocket change. Do not scoff! I paid him off! Eddy did not express the anger and action and passion of Raleigh Trammell or Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. Let us get and make this clear: my conscience is clear here, despite those old victim whines that take and waste my newspaper space and TV time. Thankfully, such stuff I no longer have to endure, listen to or otherwise handle; because I either skip the story or MUTE their extorting me for loot or change the TV channel (or waste my writing time online or look inside a book).
I suppose that we are all supposed to pay to view and listen to these two new Oscar-winning message movies, according to the media moguls, minions and manipulators who gave them publicity, praise and awards. Although it might be discriminating, judgmental, prejudiced, racist, sexist and disliking-crime funny, it seems that not that many people are willing to spend their money to see this and similar PC victim-advocacy propaganda; like that they see on TV every night and day, by the way. Boohoo, too bad and so sad that the [PBS/NPR/old-media] advocates, activists and media creeps and peeps cannot yet, much to their chagrin and regret, make us pay and go to see their best pet pest people, projects and propaganda picture shows. I'd rather see a Jason Statham movie that is much more entertaining, exciting, fun and groovy. Oh, by the way, I paid to see "Glory", a good Civil War story that was okay at a matinee…even more so than was “Django”.
