Are you as adamant when the township hood winks us with needless levies , or just when the trustees get caught with their proverbial "fingers in the cookie jar " ?
I vote for some and against others; however I dont agree with making a major production out of something you could have handled in a better way and certainly less costly way. I am not here to support the trustees, i am simply trying to inject some common sense into something that sounds really stupid.

I will respect your opinion or anyones opinion if you feel that we should waste a quarter million dollars on a 50 cent violation of state statute.

Everyone makes mistakes; how about using some common sense and just saying it to them in a public meeting and allow them the chance to fix it instead of making a mountain our of a mole hill.

those involved in this have perpetrated a fraud against the residents of Clearcreek Twp. for financial gain and to further their own cause; whats the difference in what you are accusing the trustees of doing?

I respectfully disagree...the township leaders have gotten away far too long with their shenanigans...and the general population is obvious to it..so if it takes a hit in the township coffers to wake people up...so be it. I only regret that the township leaders don't go to jail.

Jail is pretty serious and i have to assume you think they committed crimes to deserve such punishment although i have read these post several times and no one says what crimes anyone is committing. This is why we have elections so voters can decide who deserves to take care of their hard earned money. We even have a fiscal officer who was elected to 2 financial offices here in Warren County (tell me how that is legal) and since you dont mind that $250k (some of which is my hard earned money) is wasted on frivilous issues, i assume you feel she is part of the problem.

I would respectfully disagree in that the general population elects these folks. I know some of the men and women who work for the township and know many government officials in surrounding communities. This is a thankless job that many feel they could do better but most people prefer to sit back and complain without having all of the facts or having the courage to take on such a position of trust.

I repeat a post from yesterday, mistakes can be made and my preferred method of determining fact is to seek the truth. While the truth will "set you free", those who prefer to speak without knowing that they are talking about usually bring harm to others; in this case, they took money away from the people who pay taxes. This includes the men and women who work for Clearcreek Twp.

I don't know Jack Chrisman or what his true motivation is in this, but he is not to blame. The trustees and township administrator are to blame. Ed Wade has been around long enough to know he was doing wrong. He just doesn't care because this isn't going to cost him anything financially and quite frankly, most of the residents of the township aren't smart enough to figure out he is looking out for himself and his friends. He knows this. I've been a longtime resident of Clearcreek Township. There is nothing that goes on here that needs to be decided or discussed out of the public eye unless you are doing something wrong. I know, Ed Wade did nothing wrong.

Ed Wade tried to have Cathy Anspach thrown in jail for what...$30? How much did all of this cost the township? Didn't a veteran police officer lose his job over this? I know, Ed Wade is looking out for the township, especially on this one.

The township is doing well financially but the trustees seem to want to pass a fire levy because they don't want to spend the surplus. What are the surplus funds for? Maybe Jason Gabbard has more land to sell the township. I heard Ed Wade and the other trustees got quite a bargain on the last sale. Let's see if he can do even better next time. Thank you Ed Wade for spending my hard earned tax dollars wisely.

HERO DEFINED: A hero (masculine) or heroine (feminine)(Ancient Greek: ἥρ&#969 ;ς, hḗrōs) refers to characters who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, display courage and the will for self sacrifice—that is, heroism—for some greater good of all humanity. This definition originally referred to martial courage or excellence but extended to more general moral excellence.
So Jack is a Hero? To the residents of Clearcreek Twp; this hero got a judgement against your evil government for something the township would be fined around a $1,000 per violation. So for the $4K (more or less) in fines, this HERO of an attorney wants $250K and you say that the TRUSTEE is the crook?
Say it aint so Jackie? Where is the self sacrifice Jack? If not sacrifice, how about the greater good for all humanity, or at least the fine residents of Clearcreek Township? How about riding through the township in your $50k vehicle and throwing those gold coins out to all the poor pheasants who face such danger from their position of weakness??
Anyone see a trend here? Molly Wray, family member to the Wade family, "unfortunately used protected student information for personal use", says district tresurer, Ed Wade and friends violate Open meeting laws, both are in the business of taking from others to fund their lifestyles, get favors for their friends. Those pesky laws, just slow them down, what will stop them?

Really?
Jack Chrisman drives around throwing coins at pheasants?
Do you know if the pheasants are able to escape by flying away?

I took the weekend and went to school (i decided not to enter a Springboro school since a lot of folks on here seem to imply the devil himself resides there) to get better educated on my spellin. I did drive throw the township over the weekend to look at all the depressed areas and how poorly the villagers are living under these current conditions. Just TERRIBLE; i dont know how people live in these conditions but guess some of you don't drive outside of your glass houses.

Perhaps if we all can stop the pettiness and the wasteful spending on such trivial matters we can focus on a more positive future for the township.

Hope ya all have a wonderful day!

After reading all of these posts, I have decided to put a benefit together for the people of clearcreek township who have suffered so much from the ill effects of such poor leadership.

I thought we could start with a basketball tournament and maybe a bake off. Then we can have a sock hop along with a bubble gum chewing contest .

I am hoping all of you who have posted on this topic will bring your obvious talents forward to help right this ship and get this township moving in a more positive direction.

At the end of the day we can all sing kum ba ya!!

I retract my statement above regarding this Judge. He seems to be an actual Honorable man. I must learn more about this Judge Flannery. He is not at all, at least so far, like the corrupt Judges in Warren County that I have dealt with.
The problem is that initially judge Flannery actually threw the case out and fined the whistleblowers $10,000 each. The whistle blowers luckily did not take this as the appropriate answer so took the case to the Ohio Supreme court who then sent the case back to judge Flannery. Flannery reheard the case only because he was forced to. Once he could not protect these buddies he had to admit that the testimony of fiscal officer, long time township planner and another trustee were proof enough. These violations were a long term and intentional violations that even Flannery could not turn a blind eye to, and finally now he says they actually violated opens meetings laws.

We will need this as the fines will likely be in the millions. Ed Wade, and Jason Gabbard should resign now. I hear there is another law suit over the use of Township fund to buy Gabbard family land. Land purchased at top dollar, is unneeded and is set aside for another "park". Ed Wade has been there too long and needs to resign. He has Wade field named as his legacy so now before more damage is done he should resign and the 14v million surplus and the hundreds of un used and un needed acres should be returned to Springboro and Clearcreek citizens. He should share his kingdom riches back to who he stole it from.
Remember that his buddies are the long time pastor of a church here in Springboro and the Mayor of Springboro. This Mayor gave Gabbard and Wade money for their campaigns. This is union money from outside Springboro. They win campaigns because they have union money.

The castles are owned by corrupt government officials. The rest of Springboro residents are trying to survive the legal plundering of the tyrants of Springboro. Teachers, Township Trustees, Mayor and even some pastors are party to the tyranny of over regulations, over taxation by our ruling elites. Just look at the buildings our government have versus the buildings our residents and businesses are in. Who rules whom? It is obvious. You must be one of them.

Some folks have way too much time on their hands. I do like the idea of a bake sale though (Ron, you and I need to hook up at one of these rallys I plan to hold) Maybe we could have an annual Telethon to ensure our future. Forget about tax levies. Who needs a fire department or those one or 2 cops we have working each shift.

Lord knows we didnt need those road crew guys during the 713 snow days we had during these last 4 months (sorry folks, remember i am not well edumacated and dont count so well).

I dont even know any of these trustees or the township treasurer and can tell they all deserve to burn at the stake! Lets all grab pitchforks and storm the castle, i mean government center, and rid these dictators and tyrant leaders.

WOW, how worthless can someone be when you cannot respect a person for just a few days so he can grieve the loss of his mother.

Regardless of your personal opinion of someone, EVERY person deserves privacy to be with family.

a WEED is a valueless plant which appears to be what you are in this instance.

I dont know Mr Wade, never met him either. May his mother rest in peace and his family have great memories to get them through this difficult time.

For those of you without a soul, if your life requires you to always be critical, come after me and leave Mr. Wade alone.
