Is this one of those Warren County Judges who continues to hold secret meetings with Prosecutors which is a direct violation of a Citizen's Civil Rights?

Sounds like an Obama Judge. He doesn't want you to know HIS secrets; but he demands to know all of ours.

I retract my statement above regarding this Judge. He seems to be an actual Honorable man. I must learn more about this Judge Flannery. He is not at all, at least so far, like the corrupt Judges in Warren County that I have dealt with.

I go to a number of meetings at the Clearcreek township building. Do the trustees have a lot of their discussion pre-planned? Absolutely.

A Warren County judge on Friday lambasted Clearcreek Township officials for holding what could be viewed as illegal secret meetings.

“Frankly, I’m going to warn you right now: Don’t operate this way any longer,” Common Pleas Court Judge James Flannery told township officials.“You brought on a litigation that was totally unnecessary.”

Testimony wrapped up Friday in the two-day trial in which township officials are accused of violating the Ohio Open Meetings Act by holding prearranged, informal meetings in Administrator Dennis Pickett’s office a half-hour before the public session to discuss agenda items and other matters.

The law requires that public officials take official action and conduct all “deliberations upon official business” only in open meetings unless the subject matter is specifically exempt by law. It defines meetings as any prearranged discussion of public business that includes a quorum of the public body.

At issue in this case is whether discussions held between a majority of the three-member board during the gatherings qualify as deliberations.

“The issue is, did they do it? And it sounds like they did it. Now I need to know, what are they doing behind closed doors?” Flannery said.

I had heard that Wade had the opportunity to eat crow and pay the 35k fine, originally. His arrogance in fighting this will possibility cost the taxpayers of Clearcreek Township over 200k in fines....way to go Wade ! Thanks for wasting more of our tax dollars ! Why is this clown still in office ?

Just One Reason WHY Ed Wade is still in office and that is Just Because only 490 Springboro Voters agreed to continue their enslavement to Ed Wade's corruption and waste of our hard earned tax dollars. Only 490 votes separated the election results between Ed Wade's corruption and Cathy Anspach's good public service to the people over these past four years.

Good old boy Bad politicians like Township Trustee Ed Wade get elected into office because only 490 plus One good people in the community did not choose to Vote him out.

Could it be that these good people cannot Read the Bad news about Ed Wade's True History?

This is SAD.

..... And that's just criminal. Where is the outrage of good citizens in this community?
Is it possible that the majority of citizens in zip code 45066 really do have more "Dollars" to wastefully spend than they have common "Cents"....?
Is it possible that these wealthy affluent citizens are so greedy for more power and money that they really don't care about those who cannot afford to pay for the rising costs of government workers, who are in the government business to Serve the local, state and national public service unions including Teachers, Firefighters, and Police Officers?
JUST WHEN THE TRUST LEVEL COULD NOT GET MUCH LOWER

Well, WADE, PICKETT et.al, did it again. This time, placing STEVE AGENBROAD (Yes, that is right -- the Springboro MAYOR'S son) in as an assistant fire chief for the clearcreek fire district. WHEN WILL THIS MADNESS EVER END. Steve Agenbroad is a convicted THIEF and has even been reprimanded for having PORN on his Fire Department Computer! We only hope that calmer heads prevail on this one!

LOOKS LIKE WADE IS PAYING THE MAYOR BACK!

I wouldn't be too quick to call him honorable. He initially tossed the case. An appeals court ruled he improperly dismissed the case. That is why it is back in front of him.

That is OK, the citizens of Clearcreek and Springboro will pay the legal fees that WADE, Pickett, GABBARD, Wilhelm, Lamb and McDonald incurred. Right now we are talking about 300K and it will probably go up!

Stated in the article, the definition of public discussion topics and requirements are vague and interpreted differently in the courts all across all Ohio. As a long time Clearcreek resident, no one I know including myself, has any major issues with the way the townwhip is run. Clearcreek Twp is run well, with outstanding services provided to it's citizens.
Mr. Jack Chrisman however, having an axe to grind with Ed Wade, as well as having a LOT os spare time on his hands, decided to take advantage of the vague definitions around Ohio Public Meeting requirements, to pursue his own agenda with the hope of gaming $250k of taxpayer money - make no mistake, he and his buddies split these "legal fees". If anyone should be despised in the township, which he is by many - it should be Jack Chrisman. Oh, BTW, he's got a number of other lawsuits out there - go look .

Wade is a corrupt politician that should have been thrown out of office years ago, along with his township cronies, like pickett, the police and fire chief. Jack exposed WADE for what he is....a crook ! Jack is a hero.

Actually, a judge told the township they were the ones who could have avoided the lawsuit and not to operate is this way any longer. With Wade's testimony, how could he come to any other conclusion. According to an article on a Cincinnati web site, http://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/warren-co... -, Wade claims the informal meetings are held with the door open in an office next to the public restroom. Are you serious? What does this mean...if someone is wondering around the government building and get the urge to use the restroom and just happen to notice there is a meeting going on, they can attend it. I only hope someone has to do #1 and not #2 or they might miss most of the meeting. Maybe he is suggesting people take a door stop with them the next time they come to the government building so they can prop the restroom door open and listen to the township's business while they are taking care or theirs. Is this the guy you are defending?

The township is not run well. They used taxpayer money and overpaid for land owned by Gabbard. They want a fire levy that is not needed. These are just some of the things the public knows about. Who knows what they decide in their private meetings.

So, leaving the door open is alright then? What kind of stupid people do they think we are? Listen, I have been there -- the door was ALWAYS SHUT. Wade lies like a dog. As far as the FD, they conducted a study in 2001 and the consultant stated that the FD should stay a part time / full time (Combination) fire department. Since KIDD has been there, they went ALL FULLTIME, thus tripling the overall operating cost. This is CRAZY. The largest township in the state of OHIO has a combination FD so what makes Clearcreek and Springboro so dam special? And why is there an assistant administrator? Is he there to stroke PICKETT? He has NO function!

All I can say is that I have known LAMB & WADE for a long time and their goal is to get as much out of the taxpayers as they can while saying things like "I am there for you." I am sorry but they BOTH are sheep is WOLFS clothing and they need to leave. Look at the facts.

In the past year, WADE & LAMB allowed the fire chief to place a 4.5 mil levy to the voters of Springboro and Clearcreek Township – this with a reserve of seven million dollars in the bank. In my opinion, the trustees, administrators, and fire chief act as charlatans. Their demeanor is palter. They fabricate to save their own careers and this behavior must end.

Over the past few years, Clearcreek Township has made the headlines, and not in a positive manner. Issues of a trustee selling insurance to the township employees,(a OHIO ETHICS VIOLATION), WADE purchasing property with TAXPAYERS money for a new park, while lining his friends pocket with over a million dollars of TAXPAYERS money and not completing the Patricia Allen Park, a police officer fired for following orders and the trustees paying over $90,000 for their defense to fire him, failed policies in the fire department and even closing a fire station, an assistant fire chief accused of identity theft,(A FELONY) and the trustees being charged with violating the Ohio Open Public Meeting act, which they are currently having to defend with taxpayers funds.

It is time to do some real soul searching and look past the LAMB & WADEs pseudo platform.

You have to ask yourself – has WADE & LAMB lost their moral compass? Are they really looking out for your best interest?

Why is PICKETT forced to leave? Is it that he can no longer protect WADE?

This sounds like an attempt for someone to throw crap in the air and see if it sticks to anything. You waste more tax payer dollars in trying to prove something that isnt there than what the actual violation turns out to be.

It appears that is has worked out for the township since one of the trustees the judge said violated the sunshine law on 2 of the 4 occasions was recently defeated and no longer there.

HERO DEFINED: A hero (masculine) or heroine (feminine)(Ancient Greek: ἥρ&#969 ;ς, hḗrōs) refers to characters who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, display courage and the will for self sacrifice—that is, heroism—for some greater good of all humanity. This definition originally referred to martial courage or excellence but extended to more general moral excellence.
So Jack is a Hero? To the residents of Clearcreek Twp; this hero got a judgement against your evil government for something the township would be fined around a $1,000 per violation. So for the $4K (more or less) in fines, this HERO of an attorney wants $250K and you say that the TRUSTEE is the crook?
Say it aint so Jackie? Where is the self sacrifice Jack? If not sacrifice, how about the greater good for all humanity, or at least the fine residents of Clearcreek Township? How about riding through the township in your $50k vehicle and throwing those gold coins out to all the poor pheasants who face such danger from their position of weakness??

Are you as adamant when the township hood winks us with needless levies , or just when the trustees get caught with their proverbial "fingers in the cookie jar " ?
