So parents that send their kids to school are "bad parents"??????
Springboro parents David Bowman, Lisa Babb, Tiffany Carlisle, Lynn Greenwood, Stephanie Bindemann, Sarah Jobe, Tammy Grigsby, are among the "few" who certainly are modeling themselves as "bad parents" role models for our school children, as they have joined Ron and Sheri Malone in their OEA war of words against Springboro taxpayers and our children first budgeting BOE majority.

Or you could call them less invested or even lazy. It is the job of the parents to raise the children. Why pay taxes when you can do what you should be doing when you decided to have a child in the first place. Your child is your responsibility not the burden of the taxpayers.

Deflect and demean? Not at all....

These Springboro parents who are fighting against their neighbors in the name of "teacher union" justice and revenge are reflections of bad parenting and poor role models for our school children and community members.

All parents and community leaders have the "grown-up" responsibility to inspire, encourage and motivate all citizens to broader vision of higher goals; rather than bullying the tunnel vision of "already being as good as we can be; so let's just continue business as usual and throw our children's 21st century education goals under the bus; so that the union can gain more control of our school tax dollars and power of OEA indoctrination over our students.

Really? Different strokes for different folks and respect for all, regardless of different choice in educating our children, is the winning philosophy for our children's 21st centrury education.
While responsible taxpayers and parents recognize that homeschooling is a good choice for some parents and their kids; one size doesn't fit all.(And I cannot provide proof, but I do believe that parents who choose homeschooling as the best choice for their own children, are required to work diligently within state educational guildelines, and these parents/teachers at home have earned, and deserve, the same measure of respect as our good teachers working in our public schools). Some of our best neighbors are parents/teachers at home, and their families are good citizens who contribute to the success of Springboro's "good life" that all our residents in Springboro enjoy!
I do know, as a taxpaying voter in the Springboro school district, I take great civic pride in contributing to our children's education, and I never think of myself as a "victim" of the public schools "system."
And as a responsible citizen, I will do what I can do to make sure that our Springboro school children (who are really the innocent)
do not fall "victim" to this ongoing NEA/OEA/SEA war of words attacking Springboro taxpayers, and our reform-minded BOE majority, during these challenging times of union negotiations.
