Anyone see a connection between the federal power grab for control of our children's education and the beliefs of the left and the "progressives"?
#31400 May 28, 2014
Good Point, but asking for the truth to be told about Why Ms. Daniel did not get a fair shake does not in any way reduce Kyle Martin, either. Is it not true that Kyle Martin was already doing fine as building principal; as well as Christine Daniel was doing fine as building principal? So why the switch, other than Petrey's good ole boys ridding themselves of this Female professional educator who was hired from the outside by our Children First Board of Education majority members?
No doubt Kyle Martin will do fine in this position of MoreRon's status quo of running our Springboro HIgh School like a Union shop, ensuring employment security of union classroom teachers with low enrollment (even to the detriment of our student's best interest and increased waste of taxpayers money).
Creating this New Job Title to justify pushing Christine Daniel out of the Springboro High School Principal's position to make room for preferred good ole boy, Kyle Martin, only REDUCES taxpayers' trust and confidence in Todd Petrey's competence as school superintendent, under the leadership of our union first controlled schoolBoardpresident and vicepresident, Charles Anderson and Ron Malone.

Yes, there are ones among us who once were blind but now we see.
But the way I see it, we are the real winners of 1/3% Children First Vision of Reform citizens that are now under attack by our 2/3% Union First Majority of Loser citizens fighting AGAINST our Children First winning agenda to re-instate Petrey's Renewed Vision to re-instate Ron Malone's status quo agenda of past failed practices.
The Losers are winning in the Board room with their MSA Majority Authority insanely popular union first vote; but that doesn't mean that our Children First elected officials should not mount an opposition campaign, doing what's right for our school children and community as a whole. The way I see it, our current board majority is denying the people's constitutional rights of representation, in their Board room votes, which is due each citizen regardless of political and religious beliefs; and it is now proven by board vote that our MSA BOE elected officials will only listen to recommendations from the SEA staff, as delivered to the Board room by the "many faces" of our ONE hypocritcal school superintendent, Todd Petrey.

Oh Yeah! Stay Alive for Five! One - Two - down and Three More to go!
Rumor around town has it that Todd Petrey is shaking in those great big union combat boots strapped to his marching feet by Charles Anderson, Ron Malone and David Stuckey, with SEA Maneyacts orders to get out there in the Boro ONE community and stomp down the
common sense voters' resistance to voting Increased School Taxes, or else, in just three short years Petrey gets his marching orders out of School District when his overpaid $130,000/per year for FIVE years contract expires. Poor Petrey Prospects for seeing the Big Picture of education 10 years from now through the eyes of Union First Solidarity are looking pretty dim!
#31403 May 28, 2014
And anyone who looks at this Public Record posted on the Board of Education website can see clearly Which ONE of our BOE elected officials is the real Winner doing what's right for our school children and community, even among a Board majority of anti-children first/
pro-union solidarity losers.

Looking in From the outside, our SHS students have exercised poor behavior, with no respect shown our Board of Education elected officials during the SEA re-instate Malone protest rally led in March 2012. This action reflects poorly on the inability of our Springboro Education Association professional classroom teachers to put aside their own self interest of Union First Solidarity when their Union Party best interests conflict with our Students First Best Interest. Our students are being indoctrinated, manipulated, and often bullied as they are held captive audiences in our classrooms with union teachers creating a collective force of Union Students trained to fight social justice for their favorite teachers.
Malone referred to this Petrey Student Engagement Team meeting recently in public board meeting with an "atta-boy" to Petrey for his good work with the students, telling Taxpayers that decisions made in the Petrey/Student Union meetings would have greater influence on future decisions made in the Board room.
Guess last night proved "the future is now" as Petrey announced that SHS principal
Christine Daniel is out --- Kyle Martin is in. So which is it.....? Did the student union group complain to Petrey that they had no respect for SHS principal; OR did the students complain that the SHS principal had no respect for the student union group?

Why would Petrey give such a glowing review of Tina Daniel and a "moving on up" job promotion to a SHS principal, creating a job title Secondary Special Education Coordinator?
from boro e-news:
Martin will replace Tina Daniel, who will transition to become the district’s Secondary Special Education Coordinator. Daniel brings several unique experiences as a special education teacher and an English teacher, a member of the Peace Corps and a teacher at an international school in Tokyo. In addition, Daniel was curriculum supervisor for Beavercreek schools and assistant principal/7-12 curriculum director for Greenon Schools before coming to Springboro.
“As the district works toward a true co-teaching model for special education at all levels, Tina brings a wealth of experience in special education and curriculum,” said Todd Petrey, Superintendent.“We are fortunate to have experienced leaders within our district whom we can rely on to meet our goal for all students to achieve their fullest potential.”

Have you not noticed that for those that are not doing a good job, or rather the job that they were hired to do, that they are promoted to Central Office??? Petrey cannot leave them where they are, he cannot demote them and he cannot fire them (since they have contracts)- so let's promote them! This is why Central Office has become so top heavy!
#31408 May 29, 2014
Ask SHS Students? that's funny, but seriously?
Where's the Respect from SHS students when one among them has the disrespectful ignorance of insulting tax-paying Christian citizens in our local school district by standing up in public school board meeting and testifying that God has no place in this country?
#31414 May 30, 2014
If the superintendent wanted to be accurate, he's be telling taxpayers...
"if we didn't have a school board majority that's hell-bent on overspending and wasting YOUR hard-earned dollars, we'd be losing staff big time."

Time to find religion? Not in MY community.
Did you know that one definition of Religion by the free online dictionary is:
"An organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence."
Did you know that our school superintendent is now selling the organized collection of union solidarity beliefs of ONE BORO COMMUNITY - Many Voices -One Future at a cost of more than $12,000 to Springboro Taxpayers?
Did you know that our school superintendent is spending thousands of our hard earned school tax dollars promoting his Beliefs in Union Solidarity Religious practices; while ignoring the existence of Springboro Taxpayers belief that it is wrong for our local government to overtax its citizens?
School Community Meetings notices are posted in the school news, local newspapers, and community centers all over town, promoting indoctrination of ONE future of Union Solidarity for our school children and community members:
"We share one school district, one community and one future. While we all agree public education is important to our community, that idea means something different to everyone."
Yes, Mr. Petrey, public education is important and that idea means that some of our Springboro Families and Taxpaying Homeowners hold the Christian Belief of "render to the government what is due and to the Lord what is due."
Springboro Families and Taxpayer Homeowners are generating a steady stream of school taxes that are sufficiently supporting our children's education in our Springboro Schools; but as Christians we hold Dual Citizenship (Not One Community of Union Solidarity) in our local communities and in our community of like-minded believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mr. Petrey's Public Relations campaign Flyer posted around our town goes on to state:
"Public schools belong to the community, and we are inviting you to consider the big picture about education's role in our community and how the schools can better serve all residents."
Has Mr. Petrey forgotten so soon that the big picture about education's role in our community includes School Choice and the possibility of our community public schools investing our own school tax dollars in exploring possibilities of sponsoring a conversion/charter school?
If Mr. Petrey is serious about wanting to "hear from all Springboro stakeholders" and wants everyone to get a chance to speak and be understood, then why did Mr. Petrey not support investing our school tax dollars in a contract to explore the possibility of a need in our school district for a conversion school? Why did the superintendent silence the voice of those wanting to learn a better understanding of our students unmet academic needs; but now Mr. Petrey is proclaiming loudly that Mr. Stec's "Many Voices Project" of One Future of Union Solidarity be understood by every Springboro Stakeholder?

Stay Alert Voters - The More You Know about Mr. Petrey's plans of One Future of Union First Solidarty for our school children and community; the MORE MORE MORE you will LOVE LOVE LOVE these three little words for Our Children First: NO NEW TAXES.
Did YOU know that (14) state teachers unions have almost $700 million in unfunded liabilities?
Did you know that our school superintendent agrees the Malone/Stuckey/Anderson threesome of ONE voice that our school tax dollars should be wasted putting the re-emphasis back on the increased dollar value of the educator, even to the detriment of the physical elements of Safety to our Children First?
Did you know?
An EducationIntelligenceAgency analysis of 2011-12 Inernal Revenue Servce filings reveals 14 NEA state affiliates do not ha the financial assets to matche their liabilites and total almost $700 million in combined debt?
-Ohio Education Association, with net assets of negative $11.5 million, and a $1.2 million deficit in 2011-12. OEA paid $8.2 million in pension cost?
AS A UNION, NEA believes state governments should extract more revenues from taxpayersto sustain the defined benefit systm of public employees. As an employer, NEA is aware of the pitfalls of extracting More dues money from members to sustain the much more generous defined benefit system of union employees.
(All Taxpayers need to know more about Mr. Petrey's Plan for One Community For Union First Solidarity--check out the website called TeacherPension.org in order to focus me much-needed attention on the structure of the retirement system and its financial implications). mplcations. ll for Spring ngboro

Ask SHS Students? Get Real!
Why Not Ask our Springboro Board of Education Vice President, who has been an insanely popular SHS principal for thirteen years, the TOUGH questions? Why Not Start the Interrogation with this ONE Question?
Dr. Malone, As a Board of Education elected official, can you please tell our Springboro Families and our community wide Taxpaying Homeowners: How do you feel you would handle an Administrator that refused to follow the recommendations by a federal grant funding agency, and refused to follow the recommendations by the school superintendent, to increase the rigor of their school building under his professional educator watch care?
#31422 May 31, 2014
Did you know that in the English language the word "religion" is defined multiple ways, and that this word is commonly used BOTH INSIDE and OUTSIDE the context of mans' relationship to "God", and/or Higher Powers of any group's or individual's choice?
religion (noun)- a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held with faith and strong feeling

Misery loves company.
Or, in this instance...
Misery creates company.
#31424 May 31, 2014
If the superintendent wanted to be accurate, he would be telling Taxpayers the Truth:
Working under the union controlled BOE/MSA team of school district leadership,
No One Is Representing the Children.
#31425 May 31, 2014
Just Say No to Petrey's wasteful citizens for civic renewal union first indoctrination sessions. This Big Picture of Education for the future is what Solidarity looks like.
