What the School Plans to Do. To continue to increase academic rigor, SHS is investigating the possibility of offering dual credit courses. SHS will also begin implementing the revised Ohio Academic Content standards and assessments. The district will create teacher teams to analyze the revised standards and identify areas of change.

(This was December 2010 when this was written, the number of dual credit classes our students enjoyed when Mr. Malone retired 2,5 years alter: ZERO

The number instituted the following school year after he retired: SIX)

Why the School Should Continue to Address This Key Practice. According to Table 8, only 43 percent of SHS students have completed the HSTW-recommended curriculum (Ohio Core), a 34 percent decrease from 2008. Although interviews indicate that this sharp decrease is the result of changes in the process for coding transcripts, versus changes in curriculum, the decrease is still noteworthy. Only 60 percent of SHS students completed four credits of CP English, a decrease of 33 percent from 2008. There was a five percent drop between 2008 and 2010 with 77 percent of students completing four credits of CP mathematics. Eighty percent completed three credits of CP science, a decrease of 12 percent from 2008. Only 55 percent of SHS students completed at least one concentration, 30 percent below the HSTW goal.

SHS still offers general level classes (Algebra 1A and 1B, physical science, US History, and World History). Thus, not all students experience a college-preparatory curriculum. Documents provided to the TAV Team indicate that contrary to the HSTW philosophy, SHS believes that offering low-level courses is in the best interest of students. This belief, however, was not substantiated by research or data.

Although senior projects are being explored, SHS currently does not require students to complete a senior project, a necessity for graduation in 2014. Thus, they still face challenges for implementing the Ohio Core and senior projects over the next three years. Plans for a senior project need to begin several years prior to implementation.

Although SHS offers numerous AP courses and PSEO options, only 20 percent students report they attempted to earn college credit during high school. This is a decrease of 43 percent from 2008, and 60 percent below the HSTW goal. See Table 8.

(Now we expect Mr. Malone to repair all of the damage he introduced and forwarded in his personal pursuit of love and adoration?)

Our students education really can thrive without a donut and a smile a day from retired educator/board member Ron Malone.

Falsely accused? Tell that to WDTN. Educate Springboro is educating all right, educating how NOT to treat students. Must be something in the OSBLC training guidelines on how to treat anonymous students. It seems "children's first" means insult and mistrust the children first.

Yes, they are better off being served by the cyber bullying and scare tactics implemented by others on the board.

Finally, the coaches coughed up a little bit of their camp money. Now, where is the rest of it? Where are all the fundraiser monies?

Now that Malone ( former principal, and supervisor of Coaches and Athletic Director) and Stuckey (former coach and recipient of camp and other funds) are on the School Board, they do not want any further investigation or audits.

Maybe they need to abstain from voting or discussing this issue. It is an obvious conflict of interest. Ethics Commission, anyone?

The More You Know Equals Your Ignorance That You Show.

Board Member Ron Malone is No Victim of others on the board.

AND our Students are the only Victims of Ron Malone's bullying and implemented scare tactics, leading our students to protest school authority; and then school authority never holding Ron Malone accountable. AND why is That?

Because Ron Malone is a Self-Appointed Perceived Victim and a legend as false education god in his own mind! And in Ron Malone's mind, a Victim never has to be held accountable; he just has to keep on garnering sympathy by demonizing others, spreading False Evidence Appearing Real..... just like he did in March 2012.

A mind is a terrible thing for a Professional Educator to lose to the OSBA indoctrination of forced unionism. Poor Ron! So sadd.... but we can't let the SEA bad influence on Ron waste more of our children's first budget, as Ron positions himself to pressure others on the board to just let go and let Ron have his way..... or else, WHAT?

Will Ron throw another temper tantrum and community wide hissy fit, spreading lies and falsely accusing other board members of trying to push him out of his contract??? Oops, Ron don't have a contract to hold over the board anymore!

This ignorance of current events is ALL YOURS. Why no outrage over a board members cyber bullying and attack on our district? Especially in a place like this where anonimity is useed by 99% of the users.

This board can keep concentrating on Dr. Malone while the rest of the community (and possibly state) sees the CURRENT events instead of dwelling on HISTORY.

No wonder most here are out of touch. The last vote was very clear in that.

The last vote was just that - the result of Ron Malone's Vote for Revenge Against Our Children First.

The current vote here on judging Ron Malone is not based on election results; but current judgment is based on his true history of past failed practices, and what's happening now in the board room; And it is quite obvious that no one here is out of touch with Current Events or Ron Malone's History; and currently, no one here is going to forget the true history of Ron Malone, so that we can be sure that Ron Malone doesn't have opportunity to
repeat his past history of misallocation of district funds and resources.

Your petty attacks on other board members on this topix discussion will not divert attention away from Mr. Malone's dark history lesson given to this community in March 2012. It is just as much a part of Current Events as the video showing Mr. Malone's forced praise and worship of himself, interrupting kids from their classrooms, to celebrate his retirement last year.

These were his professional peers writing this report, including former board candidate and professional educator, Ms. Jane Gregg.

Should we not correct the errors from our past rather than simply repeating them hoping for a different outcome?
