Why Wait? Why Not Tell Us Now? Why is it a "Positive Things" to Waste our Children's School Tax Dollars, AGAIN, by investing $5,788 in OSBA membership of status quo?

According to the board meeting agenda, here is what board members Anderson, Malone,
and Stuckey will get in OSBA membership benefits for Waste of our Students First school tax dollars:

Annual Membership

Annual OSBA Briefcase - Hard Copy

Why not INVEST in OSBLC Membership's New Vision of Reform Putting Our Children First, while Maintaining Fiscal Integrity?

Why Not just do the Math? For ONLY $500 cost for ONE Board Member per Year, the
OSBLC offers the following SERVICES for Board Members Putting Our Students First:

Why not just get rid of the BOE? Why be with the status quo? Let's just go on and re-invent the wheel while we're at it. Get rid of the super. and hire the king you seem to want (since majority doesn't rule for you now that the majority has flipped).

You can serve as the court jester (alot of us have been laughing at this board for a LONG time).

First, there is the problem that there are 2 board member membership prices on the site. one is $200, the other is $500. If their organization can't even get the cost right on the website then how good is the rest of their information? Did the people who did the Obamacare website also do the OSBLC website?

Second a total of 30 candidates from the STATE of ohio attended their last event. 30 out of the STATE. Seems like the majority of people either haven't heard of them or ignore them.

Lastly, they have a political adjenda. As it states on their about page:

"OSBLC is your conservative alternative to understanding education funding, spending and legislative reform"

Why the use of the word 'conservative' and 'alternative' to what? I have yet to find the word "liberal" or "reform" for that matter in the OSBA website. Another big difference is the amount of information on their site. You can download how to run for a school board without paying to go to a seminar for school board candidates (as offered by the OSBLC).

Why NOT move ahead of Ron Malone's FEAR of Change?

Why NOT face the TRUTH that Springboro Families and Taxpaying Homeowners will not allow Ron Malone to arrogantly push OUR community back into the darkness of previously failed practices? Why would Ron Malone want to promote further division in our community; by leading yet another PROTEST against the best financial and educational INTERESTS of our STUDENTS first?

Why NOT stay on this new course of Vision of REFORM, extending BEYOND Ron Malone's status quo of days gone by, and MOVE ahead TOGETHER in the direction of leadership for our Children, Schools, and Community?

Common sense, ethics and sound financial decisions are the framework of Our Children First Budget. Board Members David Petroni and Jim Rigano are being HONEST about what is needed through 2017. Why would Charles Anderson, Ron Malone, and Mr. Stuckey NOT reach across the isle and join David Petroni and Jim Rigano in OSBLC membership, putting Students First, while maintaining fiscal responsibility/integrity? Why would Mr. Anderson, Mr. Malone and Mr. Stuckey desire causing DIVISION among our FIVE elected officials; by wasting $5788 of Taxpayers Money for nothing but RECOGNITION of the Three Board Members who refused to stay the course in the direction of common sense leadership and financial sustainability for our children's 21st Century Quality Classroom Education?

Why NOT stay focused on the Agenda Item on our board meeting which offers a choice for our LOCAL school board members, BETWEEN OSBA and OSBLC?

Our school district is already TWO years ahead in progress moving in the direction of common sense leadership and financial sustainability. Our school district is meeting and exceeding state mandates as well as LOCAL expectations. We ARE building a technology backbone, INVESTING in computers, curriculum, buses and buildings -- Our local school district leaders ARE PUTTING CHILDREN FIRST.

Most Important, Board Members David Petroni and Jim Rigano are being HONEST about what is needed through 2017. This is reform at the local level, and this is WORKING TOGETHER toward SUSTAINABILITY. WHY do board members Charles Anderson, Ron Malone, and David Stuckey NOT want to stay on course with board members David Petroni and Jim Rigano and continue to work in the direction of confidence to restore integrity and trust in our schools?

After learning the True History of Ron Malone's employment as high school principal, Springboro Families and Taxpaying Homeowners cannot TRUST Ron Malone's judgement in the board room. Why is Ron Malone's election to the board already causing further DIVISION among citizens who are reading this blog; AND he isn't even sworn into office yet? Why did the new board members choose this Waste of our School
Tax dollars, investing in status quo OSBA membership, AGAIN, as the first Impression they wanted Taxpayers to get of themselves as "leaders" for the future of our schools and community?

Why not answer the question: Of what Value is OSBA membership RECOGNITION of Board Members to our OUR Students, OUR Schools, and OUR Community? And Why Not Answer the Taxpayers Question regarding the Waste of OUR money? This discussion has nothing to do with Obamacare or any other political interest -- or which organization got "all the words right"....... It's all about the deeply embedded political interests of our retired educators/board members, Mr. Malone and Mr. Stuckey, who favor OSBA political indoctrination of our local board members putting Union members financial gain FIRST, OVER our Children First Budget Vision of Reform.

Stay Alert Voters! Watch which way the individual FIVE board members VOTE in the Business Meetings and Learn the Truth about Which of the FIVE board members are Really Being Honest about Caring about our Students FIRST!

Did you not attend the debate. All three agreed that we should go back to to OSBA. They ran on that position...AND WON.

Ime for Petroni and Rigano to rach across. Last month they were ready to give $9500 away to a consultant. Where was the concern then?

For that matter why no concern about an organization that has 2 different costs for the same service?

It's obvious where you bias lies.

Why Not Face the Truth that Springboro Families and Taxpaying Homeowners DO NOT AGREE with the ...... "Three that agree" that we should go BACK to the way things were in 2000, when Ron Malone was first employed by Springboro Taxpayers as SHS principal; and when Charles Anderson was previously serving on the board!

Ron Malone ran a successful, generously funded school board campaign and won election on Name Recognition as being insanely popular in the community, as the beloved old man in the school hallways handing out the smiles and goodies to the kiddies; Never utilizing his ability to affect NEEDED changes as mandated by the state to challenges of Raising the Bar for our Students and Teachers; just serving out his contract in "Limbo" and now Malone expects to "give back to his Constituents" that same just "keeping it low" service to our school community of employees AND our Community of Taxpayers? Not a Chance!

The More We Know About Ron Malone, the More WE Know he can't be Trusted in the board room to make sound financial decisions, putting our students first, while maintaining fiscal integrity, living within the framework of our children FIRST budget five-year forecast, WITH NO NEW TAXES needed for many years; and that's the Truth, for the Record.

At this point all one can do is wait and watch the surplus in the school accounts drop to zero with the union backed people in the majority of the school board. Once people start seeing levies again like dandelions in their lawn appearing every year, only then will they wake up and smell the stench coming from the new school board.

Rather than wasting a lot of keystrokes in this forum, why don't you go to the board meeting tonight to HURL these sentiments at the audience? Oh! Sorry! I almost forgot! You're way too much of a COWARD to do that.

lol..... the fun of it all!

But seriously, "get a real life" really needs to stop heckling those on this blog who are spreading great news throughout our community about the amazing progress made in our school district in the past two years! Of course we don't have a whole lot of money for Advertising Campaigns like our "unfriends" of the Union kind; but we are certainly resourceful enough to spread good news on this blog!

"Whenever you take a step forward, you are bound to disturb something."
Indira Gandhi

Those of us who continue G-R-O-W-I-N-G in our chosen profession (including our professional educators) recognize that each time we step forward, we may stir things up!
We can't avoid these disturbances of our "status quo friends" across the isle that CHANGE is causing their small tunnel-vision minds; but if we embrace Progress in our own professional growth, we can accept those who are "Disturbed at us for the progress made" and just move on..... with a great big smile and Have a day of YOUR choice; be it "great" or "small."

Keep in mind that each of us gets to make our OWN choice; we can't project our choice,
be it a great or small, upon others.

History has now proven that our former under-performing SHS principal, Ron Malone, who is now our BOE vice-president, has faced many changes in his 41 years as professional educator, and has not handled the Challenges of Life's Changes successfully.
Learning to accept Change and Adapt to Progress of the 21st Century is the skill of a lifetime. Inquiring minds are asking "what can Mr. Malone learn from his failed experiences, resisting the challenges of progress, that will help him deal with his challenges as board member and his responsibilities to our schools and community taxpayers? It's going to take a lot more than a smile and have a nice day from Mr. Malone to successfully shove an unnecessary School Tax Increase down the throats of smart voters who already know that Mr. Malone's agenda is all about the money for union teachers and employment security for those whose skill are not in demand.

Yes, that's right. All the issues were on the table for everyone to see, including the smear job against Malone, and yet, Malone, Stuckey, and Anderson won in an unbelievably one-sided landslide.

This message board is now dominated by one or two people who keep copying and pasting the same message over and over again. It's even less influential than Rigano, Petroni, and Kohls.
