@Star Press 11/14/2013:

Truth be told, Ron Malone sounds "delusional" in the local news article, as he speaks of himself, Anderson and Stuckey, as ONE.(typical delusions of the former SHS principal, who always presents himself, throughout our schools and community, of himself as the self-appointed ONE authority as false god of education, with his Union troops occupying our taxpayer funded high school facility).

Malone said one of "their" goals(as if he has all power over the minds of Anderson and Stuckey as his "puppet boys") is to "define the role of the board in the school system. He said the role should be one of policy making and RECEIVING
RECOMMENDATIONS from STAFF....!

lol, now that's not only DELUSIONAL, but that's the Identity Crisis suffered by board member-elect Ron Malone, who has been a high school principal for the PAST 13 years! In January 2012 Superintendent Gene Lolli's annual performance evaluation of Mr. Malone notes:
"Mr. Malone does demonstrate the ability to affect change, but sometimes very reluctantly."

In his past employment as high school principal, Mr. Malone REFUSED to act on Mr. Lolli's RECOMMENDATIONS to affect changes needed to raise the bar for our students and teachers; AND
Mr. Malone gave Priority to RECOMMENDATIONS
from Union Staff to run our high school like a union shop, making up classes with scant demand to ensure employment for those whose skills were not in demand....

The time has come for board member-elect, Ron Malone, to reset his delusional priorities of
"RECEIVING RECOMMENDATIONS FROM STAFF" in the
board room.

The "Role" of a BOE elected official is already defined; and ALL five board members will be held accountable, as Individuals, to listen and give fair and balanced consideration to ALL needs of the school district; AND to listen and give fair and balanced consideration to needs of ALL community taxpayers. OUR schools and OUR community are inextricably tied. Public Schools serve the community. And the community supports public schools! The Priority Role of Individual BOE
MEMBERS is to provide a critical link between our
Schools and our Community.

They sit in the audience at board meetings and they sit up on stage, they stalk parents and board members in black Cadilacs and are relentless with demands and public records requests. They demand that a review of our public offices are not done by someone that would understand how the private sector works simply because they don't want a real eye on the finances. They Petition, Rally, call the media, film every board meeting, clap like seals when a groupie says what they like. They have their hands up the skirt of people like David Bowman and Plunderbound (Jason)- all fully entrenched in the union controls and they all smile and tell you they care about this kids.

You all hold hands and destroy your childrens future and tell me that it was all for the kids again. If this town does not wake up we will be just like Germany where kids are taken from parents if they do not send them to the communist soldier training schools.

Maybe we should look at the founding documents. They are written to form a Christian Nation, they were written by 90% Christians, they were written to avoid over bearing government and tyranny. They are written to keep government out of the Church. They were written to keep govt in its rightful place, as servants to the People not the other way around. The other way around is Communism.

There's only one way to say the TRUTH; Otherwise, it would just be parents for S-U-R-E spreading F-E-A-R... you know False Evidence Appearing Real; distorting the Truth all over the news media by preaching politics of personal destruction, demonizing our school district's winning agenda of Students First/Fixing Budgets/Levy Alternatives, doing what's right for our students, our teachers, our schools and our community?

Reform-minded Common Sense Voters understand that our Status Quo Pro-Levy Lover Voters find it "obnoxious and annoying".... that overwhelming SUPPORT of the progress made by our current board in less than just TWO years, was proven solidly by November 5th Renewal levy...Saving Taxpayers $6.5 million over the FIVE year life of the levy, while CONTINUING to generate surplus!

....And that is NEW insight worthy of Front Page Headlines,
bringing NEW appreciation to Taxpayers' minds EVERY DAY,
over and over, saying the SAME thing... Children's First Budgeting Works! It's for our children, our community and toward a better future for our schools!

Maybe not, but here it is, whether "Get a Life" is ready to accept the reality of Springboro Life OR not....

While some may consider putting students first while maintaining fiscal integrity boring and obnoxious "crap,"... others consider it financial sustainability for our children's future education, while Saving Springboro Families $6.5 million in UNNECESSARY school taxes!

The author, philosopher and poet George Santayana once said, "A child educated only at school is an uneducated child."

George Santayana also said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Lest we forget that board member-elect, Dr. Ron Malone, prescribed for our high school students a low level curriculum, keeping them uneducated in order to provide job security for union teachers... we must review often and always remember the true history, through official documents, of Dr. Ron Malone, who has been a SHS principal for the PAST thirteen years.

For too long, during Dr. Ron Malone's employment as high school principal, our leadership was not motivated, content with the status quo, leaving too many children underserved. The direction we head now is sustainable, it creates opportunity, it offers balance, and it states the TRUTH.

Within the framework of Children's First Budget, our current board and school district leaders have proven that this district--with its record of excellence--is sustainable with an even lower tax burden. We are meeting and exceeding state mandates as well as local expectations; building a technology backbone, investing in computers, curriculum, buses and buildings. Most important, our current board members and school district leaders are being HONEST about what is needed through 2017! This is REFORM at the local level, and this IS working together toward sustainability!

....in the direction of OPPORTUNITY!

When we combine COMMON SENSE spending with the strong performance of our schools, we provide opportunities for everyone-- Our students --
Our Teachers, Our Families, and Our Community.

For Example:
*Number of Dual College Credit Classes AVAILABLE
when Mr. Malone retired -0-
*Number of Dual College Credit Classes added AFTER
Mr. Malone retired June 30, 2013 -6-
*Increased pay for every school employee (including our administrative staff)
*Reduced taxes for every Springboro family and taxpaying homeowners. Hooray for Us!

From the district's aging computers, buses and buildings to new Common Core curriculum and rising expectations with new standards, testing, evaluation systems, the status quo is not equipped to meet the challenges that our school district faces!

Educate Springboro reaches past the status quo. As we examine district operations and use achievement data, we are creating opportunity, directing more resources to students and ore tools to teachers.

Interestingly WRONG. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_of_Tripol...

The 1796 Treaty with Tripoli states that the United States was "not in any sense founded on the Christian religion" (see the image on the right). This was not an idle statement meant to satisfy muslims-- they believed it and meant it. This treaty was written under the presidency of George Washington and signed under the presidency of John Adams.

Who were the Founding Fathers? American historian Richard B. Morris, in his 1973 book Seven Who Shaped Our Destiny: The Founding Fathers as Revolutionaries, identified the following seven figures as the "key" Founding Fathers:

John Adams
Benjamin Franklin
Alexander Hamilton
John Jay
Thomas Jefferson
James Madison
George Washington

Of these, only John Jay can be considered an orthodox Christian. As Congress's Secretary for Foreign Affairs, he argued (unsuccessfully) for a prohibition forbidding Catholics from holding office. On October 12, 1816, Jay wrote, "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers." It is John Jay that the modern Christians have in mind when they talk about the Founding Fathers. Luckily for the rest of us, and all freedom-loving Americans, he was not in the majority.

Did You Know that there really is NO majority rule in this
Great Nation of Freedom-Loving America! May God Bless Us All,
the Good Bad and the Ugly!

The time has NOW come for All Citizens of Springboro to give thanks to whomever, or whatever, they choose, OR not to give thanks ... and then accept their INDIVIDUAL responsibility to work together as Good Citizens to problem solve the Issues of Taxation needed to run our local governments, including our Springobro Schools, Clearcreek Township and City of Springboro.

Is it not our CURRENT ISSUE of "How we will govern ourselves" for the people, by the people, and of the people that is of greatest concern to ALL our citizens, which we ALL have in common, keeping our great schools and good neighborhoods, both Safe AND Affordable for ALL?

Isn't this religion argument still on this blog simply to distract readers from paying attention to the failed practices of Ron Malone running our high school like a union shop during his employment as principal; and his "out for revenge" hostility
toward Springboro families to "re-instate Malone" in the board room, running our school district like a union shop---making up excuses to hire More Union employees to ensure employment for those who pay big Union dues into the SEA,OEA, and NEA?
Springboro Taxpayers

Springboro, OH

We Believe over taxation of the taxpayers is wrong!

We Believe in supporting the amount of necessary taxation required to do the job correctly.

We Believe that excess tax money in any government body tends to inspire creative ways to spend that money.

We believe transparency, from budgeting to policy formulation to meetings, leads to good governance in all level of government.

We Support Mr. Petrey's Belief, as stated in the August 2012
DDN article....

"Where the board's at right NOW is wanting the highest academic achievement and fiscal responsibility," Petrey said, "That's what I stand for."

In the Star Press November 14, 2013, board member-elect Ron Malone said one of the goals while working on the board is to make sure student's educational needs are met, such as special needs and advanced students in a way that is fiscally responsible.

Our current board members (including David Petroni and Jim Rigano)
have worked tirelessly during the past two years, and now have built a financial foundation on the Principle of Fiscal Responsibility, putting students first, while maintaining fiscal integrity. The fear of change will not chase our community back into the darkness of previously failed practices. Now is the time for Ron Malone to get on board with our current board's reform minded Vision of our children's 21st century education! Let's
stay on this new course and move together in the direction of common sense leadership for our children, schools and community.
Now That We Know

It doesn't take more money; It takes more accountability.
Mr. Malone reluctantly resisted accountability to his boss, Mr. Lolli, and ignored recommendations that could have raised the bar
for our students, and "it's all Malone's fault" that district and taxpayer resources were wasted, along with lost opportunity of individual higher academic achievement.
Public records (which are availabe to the public upon request)
prove that Malone's poor job performance is most definitely
"all Malone's fault." Whose else could it be?
Let's look at Today and the Future with new optomism that
Mr. Malone can be led, by example of the other board members,
to utilize his abilities putting students first while maintaining fiscal integrity. It doesn't take more money; It takes more
accountability. Board member-elect, Mr. Malone, is now accountable to the community of all taxpayers, to listen to the needs of our school community of employees, in addition to listening to the needs of our community as a whole.

The time has now come for Mr. Malone (and his campaign supporters) to leave behind the status quo failed practices of his PAST, running our SHS like a union shop, misallocating district and taxpayer resources. As just one member of a professional TEAM, can Mr. Malone get on board with our current board's reform minded vision for our children's 21st century education; OR will he continue behaving as a school yard bully out for revenge, pretending to be the "Victim", demanding constant attention of praise and worship for himself, as the insanely popular Ron Malone, who once was a high school princiPAL?
What a waste of 41 years of experience is that?

lol, now that's not only DELUSIONAL, but that's the Identity Crisis suffered by board member-elect Ron Malone, who has been a high school principal for the PAST 13 years! In January 2012 Superintendent Gene Lolli's annual performance evaluation of Mr. Malone notes:

Truth be told.... the reality of Educate Springboro's common sense leadership, putting of Students First while Maintaining Fiscal INTEGRITY, is Mr. Malone's worst nightmare coming true in the board room.... Not A Chance that 6,086 voters who choose private sector business man, Charles Anderson, as number ONE to join our reform minded board members, David Petroni and Jim Rigano, OVER
the two retired educators, Ron Malone and David Stuckey.
Mr. Malone only won Second Place as most insanely popular high school principal, even though he had led a Vote for Revenge campaign since 2012 AGAINST our school district's reform minded agenda putting Students First/Fixing Budgets/Levy Alternatives.

Springboro Families and Taxpaying Homeowners had only the time frame of September 21st till November 5th to introduce this entire community of over 10,000 households to our Students First school board candidates, David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn. Special Thanks and Great Appreciation are extended to BOTH David and Kolton, along with their families, who stepped UP to challgenge at the very last minute to stand UP for students First at the November 5th polls! What an encouragement it is to all common sense voters to see young people like these parents of young children so dedicated to doing what's right for our schools and community!

With no money, no campaign manager, no planned strategy, our Students First school board candidates, David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn, along with their families, got to work spreading their introduction of themselves as conservatives running for school
board election in support of the progress that our current board has made in the past two years! And these two "unknown school board candidates" were able to bring in 2,378 votes for David Bitner AND 2,303 votes for Kolton Vaughn! This is an absolutely amazing achievement to have reached almost half the votes that
our retired educators received!(keep in mind that these retired educators, Ron Malone and David Stuckey, had been campaigning this vote for revenge AGAINST board members David Petroni and Jim Rigano since March 2012, AND with full financial backing of a great community-wide advertising campaign, emotionally manipulating voters, presenting false evidence AGAINST board members David Petroni and Jim Rigano, using the Media Circus to make their false evidence against our current reform mimded board members "appear real" as they demonized our school district's much needed educational/financial REFORMS, in the FEAR campaign to "re-instate Malone's status-quo" failed practices of the PAST.

Common sense voters are fully optimistic that our retired educators/board members elect, Ron Malone and David Stuckey,
have the ABILITY to get on board with our current board of elected officials from the "private sector" (Charles Anderson, David Petroni, Jim Rigano) and stay on this NEW course and MOVE in the direction of our reform-minded leadership! The future of our children's 21st Century Education depends on our elected officials (including Ron Malone and David Stuckey) to be the vital Link between our Community of Taxpayers and our school community!
