What a waste of 41 years of experience is that?

I'm just glad that the voters of Springboro gave Malone, Stuckey, and Anderson an overwhelming mandate to change the awful status quo that has been coming from the current Board.

The high school was very well run in the past. The number of scholarships going through that school is amazing and the kids are taught well. The voters recognized that and want it to continue.

Unfortunately, the current Board sacked Malone. Now WE THE PEOPLE have spoken, knowing Malone's great track record, and have given him, Stuckey, and Anderson an overwhelming mandate.

At the ballot box, we said that we wanted to get rid of the current Board's terrible policies. We especially want to get rid of their careless budgeting which never fit the fiscal reality, only their desired outcome.

You are incorrect as usual. The origin of the proverb is unknown. Some believe it to be an African proverb, others Native American, but there is no evidence so who knows. The context you provide is also incorrect. In all accepted academic interpretations, it means exactly what everyone, including Hillary Clinton (make no mistake, I am NOT a fan of hers) assumes it means.(I find it hilarious that you would profess to know what they meant long ago in Africa even though know one knows where the saying originated...but somehow YOU know.)

Why must you continually randomly state things as fact when you're just making it up? Is this how you get through your life? Creating your own little truths? I was going to say that it must be such a sad existence, but since you're oblivious to any actual facts, I suppose for you ignorance truly is bliss.

However, today we can see just how far out of balance we actually were under the previous leadership. Some of the imbalances of the past include:
Capping high school class sizes in the 20s, while other grades who most need teacher attention, had larger class sizes (often up to 30).
Teaching the majority to meet the proficient standard (proficient is a OAA test score in 8th grade >40), while our district receives a D in gifted education and a C for our more challenged, lowest 20%.
Ignoring the changing curriculum and testing standards for students.
Charging higher pay-to-play and school fees than were necessary.
Failing to plan for technology in our classrooms and then spending resources on wireless technology that was inadequate and required replacement.
Ignoring recommendations to improve the rigor of our high school academic programs by failing to promote college credit options for our students.
Reacting to circumstances and spending more than budgeted instead of planning to invest and keeping up our buildings, grounds and bus fleet.
Assuming the only solution was higher taxes and hoping for a new levy to pass.
These are symptoms of the status quo controlling a school district that lost its balance.

The truth of how he chose to use those gifts is revealed in the Public Records Reports of his professional Peer Reviewers, his superiors, and his own public pronouncements, proves to community taxpayers that Mr. Malone ran this high school like a union shop, making up classes with scant
demand to ensure employment for those whose skills were not in demand. This tactic robbed resources from areas of grater need in the district. Those who suffered the most were the gifted and those in need of early intervention.

Stay Alert Voters and Make YOUR Presence Known in the board
room evaluating each Performance of Mr. Malone, as only ONE
Voice, among FIVE individual Voices, in the Board Room.
Early Intervention of concerned taxpayers in the board room
is the best prescription for the ailing "union first" leadership woes of the good old status quo, Dr. Malone (who has been a
SHS princiPAL for 13 years and NOW has a proven record of
poor job performance, failing to put ALL our students highest academic achievement FIRST, on his list of needed "things to do."

It takes a lot more ABILITY for Mr. Malone to serve our school community and community of taxpaying constituents as an elected official of the Board of Education than Mr. Malone "UTILIZED"

I did not find the answer to "What resources did Dr. Malone rob" on that website. If you're referring to class size, I would agree that lower grade levels need smaller classes. He did not, however, steal an elementary teacher and bring her up to the high school. He had a certain number of teachers to utilize, and he did this in such a way as to provide my kids with the best possible high school education. Kudos to him! Now again, if the elementary schools needed lower numbers, then it would be up to the school board to make that happen. The SCHOOL BOARD is what has made elementary numbers high, not Ron Malone. Based on what you're saying, it sounds like we need more elementary teachers to ease the numbers which has nothing to do with Malone. So if we, according to you, need more elementary teachers, then why did the board reduce the renewal amount, making this impossible? Sounds like another SCHOOL BOARD FAIL!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I would like to thank the school board that, at this moment is still in power, for giving us taxpayers in the Springboro school district NO NEW TAXES for the last four years. That will come to an end with the union backed school board elected taking office in January. Happy Thanksgiving to Kelly Kohls, David Petroni, and Jim Rigano. Thank you from the tax payers of this community.

Thank you, Wendy Kull, for stepping in after coward Scott Anderson quit the board, throwing the children of this community under the bus.

Thank you, Don Miller, for your effort and hard work. Taking on responsibilities of a school board member while being functionally illiterate has to be one hellava tough act.

It is clearly seen that Glass Houses' dark narrow tunnel vision
refuses to BELIEVE the good things happening in our school district that those of us with reform minded broader vision see
and appreciate so dearly...
