I know Greg scares children when he does his career day at the High School and his wife works in the district. HMMMMM can you say conflict?
Lets keep going.
They are using the Sol Alinsky communist rules for radicals techniques. This community needs to know who is the cause of Springboro embarrassment. These 4 are a start.
Greg has a wife that works in the district and that's a conflict? So I guess anyone who doesn't have a spouse that works in the distrcit would have a conflict on the opposite side right?

Speaking at a board meeting (or with your ballots) and voting on award of a contract are two different things. The last state audit we had suggested we include an ethics clause for the BOE (surprise, the suggestion was ignored). COI is something that exists in a business (like the BOE). It's also important to note that a COI doesn't have to always be monetary.

It's like saying that B/V should not have ran for the BOE because if they would have been elected they would have a COI since they have children attending the district schools. Them being on the board would be fine, since they would not be engaging in a contract with their children (and it's undreasonable to have them put their children in another district). In the case of the MLA contract, it may be better to find a more qualified group (like someone who has done this with a school system before) for the job if we do it at all.

Don't be distracted by the evil ones demonizing the tea party rally, which isn't even on the Agenda of tonight's Springboro
Board of Education business meeting and work session.

Check out the www.springboro.org website, click on the Board of Education page, and Study up on the Agenda for tonight's business meeting and work session.

Just ask our Interim Treasurer about Subject 3.4 (as printed on the BOE agenda for tonight)

Subject: 3.4 APPROVAL TO ADVANCE CASH TO ATHLETIC FUND
RECOMMENDED REQUEST:

ADVANCE $250,000 CASH FROM TAXPAYERS GENERAL FUND 001 TO

ATHLETIC FUND 300-903B ACTION.

JUST ASK OUR INTERIM TREASURER IF THERE IS A "CONTRACT"

BETWEEN THE TAXPAYERS and THE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS OFFICERS TO

PAY BACK THIS "CASH ADVANCE" OF TAXPAYERS SCHOOL TAX DOLLARS?

Wake Up People! We need to QUESTION EVERYTHING on the Agenda that goes on in our public board meetings, Instead of DEMONIZING targeted Board Members, including Kelly Kohls, Jim Rigano, and
David Petroni with the OEA War of Words by telling lies and spreading F-E-A-R...False Evidence Appearing Real.

In the Case of the MLA contract, which was questioned and objected to by citizens, including Ron Malone, the BOARD LISTENED TO ALL
COMMENTS, then voted 3-2 AGAINST the contract.

Now what could be more FAIR and BALANCED than that action that was taken by our current board members: Kelly Kohls, Jim Rigano, David Petroni, Don Miller and Wendy Kull?

In the case of the MLA contract, which was objected to by board members, David Petroni, Don Miller, and Wendy Kull, because "this contract was not in the best interest of the school community and the community of taxpayers.

In this case of majority board vote at last meeting, AFTER LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE, the board is now bringing to the meeting on tonight's agenda Subject 8.1 Approval of MLA Management Systems, Inc. Contract (File Attachments on website: MLA Management Systems Contract. pdf 430.KB)

This mean that EVERYONE has opportunity to review this, then
ask QUESTIONS or MAKE COMMENTS ON this AGENDA ITEM.

Using the agenda items of the BOE business meetings to personally attack the personhood, the politics, the religion, or the differing views of ANY Board of Education representative is
digusting and repulsive to the DIVERSE community of Taxpayers in this school district who VOTE our elected officials into Service to our Schools and Community, and WHO foot the big bill for a quality classroom education for ALL students, with a Highly Qualified Professional Educator in every classroom.

The contract on the adjenda is the SAME one as last meeting.
When you can't defend the issue, I guess you have to attack the people. That tells alot about what side of the MLA issue to take. MLA has never done this type of work for a school board before. Is it wise to be their test rats?
Obviously No debate means No choice, other than Attacking the
People of "Choice"... specifically board members Kelly Kohls,
Jim Rigano, and David Petroni.

Inquiring minds question the motives of those who are, once again, poised to attack board member Kelly Kohls, for presenting this Agenda Item Subject 8.1 Approval ofMLA Management Systems,Inc.
contract for once again, the board to vote either yea or nay.
Each board member gets ONE VOTE to VOICE ONE OPINION.

And What could be more Fair and Balanced than that?

What in the world is "No debate means No choice" raving and ranting about on this blog, bloviating, "When you can't defend the issue, I guess you have to attack the people....?"

The only "attack dogs" on this blog (and in our board room AND
in the local newspapers) are those who oppose reform minded change in the way that our school district does the multi-million dollar education business; and for S-U-R-E that opposition filled with
tunnel vision darkness and F-E-A-R of our school district's winning agenda of Children's First Budgeting, does seem to be
spreading lies and False Evidence Appearing Real throughout our school community and our community as a whole, AGAINST school board members Kelly Kohls, Jim Rigano, and David Petroni.

Let's Stay the Course in Support of the progress made in the past two years; and let's start questioning the Motives board-elect Ron Malone and his vote for revenge Boro Alumni cheer leader.

There is NO room in our Board room for a "PEP RALLY" for
princiPAL Ron at every public school board business meeting.

Please know what you are talking about. Did you even attend the last meeting? Dr. Malone did NOT object to the contract when he spoke. He simply pointed out that the board never responds to questions asked by the public before they vote.

Also, Kull and Miller stated they would like to see a Treasurer hired before anyone was brought in.

The contract presented is no different (dated Nov. 4th) than the contract Mr. Petroni had issues with.

As far as "questions" that is what Dr. Malone's point was. The board never answer's "questions" during the public participation.

Also what "false evidence" has been presented?

Finally as far as "personally attack the personhood, the politics, the religion, or the differing views of ANY Board of Education representative" should also go for the PUBLIC who FUNDS their budget. I would suspect you found the display of a conferderate flag "digusting and repulsive" since it was meant to attack the politics, religion and differing views of the FUNDING PUBLIC.

Mr. Malone proved to the community of taxpayers in November 2013, that he did not have what it takes to be NUMBER ONE INSANELY POPULAR princiPAL; and Now, at the first public board meeting on November 7 since Ron Malone was elected Number 2 at the polls, Mr.Malone has to fall VICTIM again to that mean old BOE mama

The one from Pickerington, OH must be a lonely person with nothing but their faithful talk radio and their computer to keep him/her company. Since Sunday they have posted over 41 posts. Most posts say the same thing - I'll paraphrase - look how great K/P/R are and look how shameful everyone else is. Nothing of substance, nothing to back up their statements, and absolutely no original thoughts.

Based on the amount of time they spend on the computer and on this blog I am guessing they have no children at home and are only looking at one thing - who or what can make the school district run with the least amount of money - regardless of the effect on children. If they do have kids - I really feel sorry for them, the neglect they feel must be overwhelming.

Wow I attended the board meeting last week and saw the aggitators. I looked around and was instantly in a hostile place as these people look like nasty, angry hateful people. I don't get it.

These, mostly women looked like linebackers that just lost the game and they were there to kick some butt. I have never been so intimidated and sad for our kids in my life. This is what represents Springboro? With Larry Budd our Springboro reporter salavating gripping his hands at the thought of getting some blood with his pack close behind him.

Is this what these board members have had to deal with for the last few years? If so I am sorry I did nothing. Now these wolves have a new board and they were outside celebrating the demise of all common sense and the new blood thirst that will take over.
All I can say is parents rescue your kids take them out of this "system" it is just here to make little soldiers for the cause and these agitators are and those they elected are militants.

If you care about the future of our schools and community and support the progress made in the past two years, then the time has now come to
get involved in what's happening in our children
classrooms... and the best place to start is with
EARLY INTERVENTION in the board room public meetings.

KEEP IN MIND: The purpose of our Board of Education representatives is to serve BOTH
the school community of students and staff
AND the community consituents/taxpayers.

The future of our schools expands far beyond the expertise, the weaknesses or the popularity of ONE teacher, ONE building principal, ONE Superintendent or ONE board member.

It is unfortunate that Ron Malone's popularity contest and his Boro Alumni vote for revenge
protest AGAINST board members Kelly Kohls, Jim Rigano, and David Petroni during the March 2012
"re-instate Ron Malone" campaign has evolved into
this November 2013 popularity contest for Ron, and
now seems to be headed into the business meetings of our public school board meetings as the cry around town now is for Ron to "show the door to
Jim Rigano and David Petroni" in January 2014, while the Boro Alumni court jesters applaud the
Pep Rally for Principal Ron.

Check out the board meeting agenda for tonight
and the recommendation to employ RON MALONE as
a Volunteer in the Athletic Department. Seems
like some EARLY INTERVENTION is needed here to
avoid a further conflict of interest; wasn't it last board meeting that Employment Contract of Ron Malone's wife, Sheri, was approved by the Unanimous Vote of the five Board members.

SOS to BOE: Don't be distracted in the board room by all this pre-planned bullying of Kelly Kohls, that you fail to notice Ron Malone's hidden agenda
to get control of the Athletic Department.

Inquiring minds are asking IF Ron Malone wasn't
responsible for this big funding gag in Athletics during the 2012-2013 school year "under the status quo watch of SHS principal, Ron Malone???

TRUTH IS... All Board Members, ARE on Taxpayers Payroll,
and as of January 2014, All Five board members, including
Mr. Malone, now works for the Community of Taxpayers.

Mr. Malone will soon learn that working for Taxpayers to protect
our INVESTMENT OF OUR SCHOOL TAX DOLLARS, will be a much broader challenge of his "reluctant ability" to put students first,
than the challenge of Mr. Lolli, during Malone's employment as SHS principal just running a "union shop" putting Union employment first.

As the man who led our school district as high school principal for 13 years, Ron Malone haeld a special place of trust, authority, and influence in our community. How he chose to use those gifts is revealed in the public records reports of his professional peer reviewers, his superiors, and his own public pronouncements.

The recent note from Mr. Tom Isaacs of the Warren County Educational Service Center in defense of Mr. Malone is
noteworthy in that it DID NOT REFUTE any of their prior conclusions or recommendations.

After studying the conclusions of the 2010 Warren County Educational Service Center Audit Report on SHS Program of
studies; AND the HSTW Ohio Regions Technical Assistance Visit Report, Springboro High School, December 14-15, 2010;

AND the ANNUAL PERFORMANCE EVALUATIONS OF MR. MALONE, BY
Superintendent Mr. Lolli;

AND the 2013 US NEWS Ranking of high schools in Ohio;

AND the Misallocation of district and taxpayer resources;

No Doubt About It...

THE PROVEN CONCLUSION IS THAT....

Mr. Malone ran this high school like a union shop, making up classes with scant demand to ensure employment for those whose skills were not in demand. This tactic robbed resources from
areas of greater need in the district. Those who suffered the most were the gifted and those in need of early intervention.

....and that Means financial abuse of taxpayers hard earned money
because ALL Students were not getting the quality education under Mr. Malone's watch, for which taxpayer's were paying.

...Now, with Mr. Malone in the board room, under the scrutiny
of Community Taxpayers,

WE BELIEVE WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR OUR
STUDENTS FIRST....

These Already proven records celebrate our success:
Number of Dual college credit classes available when Mr. Malone retired TOTAL - ZERO!
Number of Dual College Credit Classes added AFTER Mr. Malone
retired June 20, 2013 TOTAL - SIX!

..........and that means in JUST FIVE MONTHS, Our current board and school district leaders have done SIX TIMES more, putting Students FIRST, than Mr. Malone did in the PAST 13 years running our high school like a Union Shop.
