Recently one of my voting age kids informed me she was confronted by a pushy lady who told her that she needed to get her registered to vote for Malone/Stuckey/Anderson. The person was aggressive and telling her who to vote for. My child said that lady had no idea that she has been registered to vote and voted in every election since turning 18 and quite capable of making her own political decisions. She didn't even bother to first ask my child if she was a registered voter, rather started off with telling her what to do. My child also said "that lady follows school board members around and that's just creepy!" Interestingly, when the recent scheme of Sara Jobe against candidates Bitner and Vaughn was reported in the DDN, my child said "that is the woman, Mom!" I have to agree with my child, Jobe is "creepy". And she is Malone's campaign manager...
If this is the type of people Malone chooses to place in leadership positions it really makes me question his judgment and his candidacy.

EDUCATE SPRINGBORO ENDORSES BITNER VAUGHN ANDERSON

http://educatespringboro.org/2013/10/23/in-th...

Springboro’s school board should represent the interests of the parents and the public. Parent and community representation provides a critical check and balance. David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn are both parents of children enrolled in Springboro Schools and have committed to making education their top priority. They support the “Children First” philosophy.

Educate Springboro supports a slate of three candidates, Charles Anderson, David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn for Springboro Board of Education. David Bitner and Kolton Vaughn bring their perspective as parents, taxpayers and concerned citizens to provide more balance in board perspectives. We are also confident that with the addition of the business acumen Charles Anderson has accumulated in his many years of service to the community, our district can continue to be sustainable. Keeping our students as the first priority, supporting our teachers, and being the voice of the community in public education is our goal. The addition of Anderson, Bitner, and Vaughn aid us all in accomplishing that goal.

Educate Springboro is also FOR the renewal. Issue 14 is a reduced renewal levy. In good faith, we’ve balanced the budget and met our obligations. When it became clear that the district could meet its needs with less money, the board voted to request lower millage in the renewal levy in November. Not only have we proven that we can live within our means, but now every stakeholder in this district—our students and families, our staff and teachers, and the taxpayers–will benefit.

Please join Educate Springboro in voting
FOR DAVID BITNER for School Board, and

FOR KOLTON VAUGHN for School Board, and

FOR CHARLES ANDERSON for School Board, and

FOR Issue 14 for our school district.

Departing board member Don Miller deserves a certain amount of credit. During his time on the board he's taken a hellava lot of heat from all angles. As a lame duck, he could have very easily caved into SEA interests by endorsing the custom Malone-Stuckey-Anderson union ticket. Instead, Miller's endorsement is honest.
R U Sure that Miller's endorsement of only TWO candidates is completely honest, and that Miller has now earned new respect as the outging board member?

Isn't it true that Miller has just failed to endorse a
third candidate? And isn't it true that Miller's good old boy buddy DW, on this blog, has pushed choosing the third candidate down the throats of readers on this blog?

If Miller is so honest, and DW has found new respect for Miller, then why isn't Miller respectful enough to name his third candidate -- which most likely, is Ron Malone?

People in this community who are jumping on the Honesty bandwagon for Charles Anderson as the third candidate to vote for....
should broaden their vision beyond November 5th and ask
themselves IF Anderson,Kolton,Malone isn't the real ticket
that Miller is "silently" endorsing???

If You don't want that to happen, then the only way to prevent that from happening is to vote on November 5:
BITNER/KOLTON
VS
MALONE/STUCKEY

Could be, either way, that Anderson is the third wheel that will easily roll into the board room holding on to the coattails of
only ONE of these TEAMS of TWO!

Remember in November
VOTE FOR THE TEAM MEMBERS WHO ARE ALREADY ON BOARD

VOTE FOR DAVID BITNER/KOLTON VAUGHN!

Remember, citizens who live IN SPRINGBORO, you can vote for Clearcreek Township TRUSTEE as well!

Let us look at the record on LAMB & WADE:

They allowed the fire chief to place a 4.5 mil levy to the voters of Springboro and Clearcreek Township – this with a reserve of seven million dollars in the bank.

Over the past few years, Clearcreek Township has made the headlines, and not in a positive manner.

Issues of WADE selling insurance to the township employees,(an OHIO ETHICS VIOLATION) and pocketed 1.2 million dollars over the deal.

WADE purchasing property with TAXPAYERS money for a new park,(On Red Lion 5 Points Rd) while lining his friends pocket with over a million dollars of TAXPAYERS money and not completing the Patricia Allen Park

WADE & LAMB FIRED Police Chief Herdt for NOT firing a police officer -- who did NOTHING WRONG -- so they FIRED CHIEF HERDT

FIRED another police officer for following orders and the trustees paying over $90,000 for their defense to fire him.

Allowing failed policies in the fire department and even closing a fire station.

WATCH the CLEARCREEK FIREFIGHTERS PLAY with your tax dollars and SAFETY equipment. http://youtu.be/Zkpws1KUusA

Allowing an assistant fire chief accused of identity theft,(A FELONY) to KEEP HIS JOB!

NOW WADE & LAMB are being charged with violating the Ohio Open Public Meeting act, which they currently have to defend with TAXPAYERS funds. Court date of late November 2013 -- after the election.

WADE & LAMB have been trustees for over 30 years! PLUS, they get paid over $25,000.00 a year!

So, now that you know the TRUTH, isn't it time to RETIRE WADE & LAMB?

Stop working overtime being a conspiracy theorist. If Don Miller liked the idea of Ron Malone being on the future Springboro BOE, he would have endorsed Ron Malone right along with Vaughn and Anderson. But because he's honest, Miller didn't endorse Malone. Miller obviously doesn't think too much of Stuckey or Bitner, either.

However, you ought to be proud of your boy, Don Miller. You and he have something in common. You are both voting for ONLY TWO school board candidates!

Seems as though I do live in truth. Where do you live?
Still can't handle the truth?

Come on No Debate here is your chance

If you live in the truth, please tell us which of these points you find not to be true and most importantly, WHY?

The January 2013 Warren County Educational Service Center audit report performed by professional educators reviewing our high school program of studies had this to say regarding the direction
Mr. Malone steered the academic program:

"Documents provided to the Tactical Assistance Visit Team indicate that contrary to the High Schools That Work* philosophy, SHS believes that offering low level coarses is in the best interest of students. This belief, however, WAS NOT
SUBSTANTIATED by research or data."
(*High Schools ThatWork is a program to enhance education for children.)

--WE BELIEVE for too long our leadership was nt motivated, content with the status quo, leaving to many children underserved. The direction we head now is sustainable, it creates opportunity, it offers balance, and it states the truth.

--WE BELIEVE in order to deliver the highest level of education we must raise the bar well past the state minimums and strive to challenge our children, parents, and staff to reach higher.

--WE BELIEVE--that allocating resources from areas of less demand to areas of greater demand is one common sense approach to resolving needs in our schools.

--WE BELIEVE--that in order to take advantage of the higher level classes at the high school, more children must be put on that track at earlier grade levels.
