I could add more, but you should get the picture.
Sarah Jobe fits both above definitions.
Both Marco Polo and Sarah Jobe fit both above definitions, each one being both untalented and displeasing.

In the June 19 DDN news article "Springboro school board to seek property tax levy" staff writer Lawrence Budd reports:
"I don't think we're going to pass another (new) levy here for a long while," Superintendent Todd Petrey said during a May 23 work session.

Children First Budgeting Works!
And the way I read the news of what's happening now...
even if our SEA school employees walk out on our children's classroom education, you can betcha that our school superintendent and children first board members will keep their commitment to Springboro taxpayers, ensuring that the children of the Springboro community receive an excellent education while keeping the cost of that education affordable, by carefully adhering to responsible spending.

You know you are winning when the only thing left in the bag of the union are these ad hominem personal attacks.

Don't argue the merits of your case, they seem to be losing, instead attack the ones who appears to be winning by virtue of a more rational, reasoned, and responsible message.

Great strategy, keep up the good work.,

There is a horde of well-qualified personnel for Mr. Petrey to select from if our SEA school employees walk out on our children's classrooms.

No kidding! If we should choose to do so, my wife or I could easily teach in Springboro schools. Both of us exceed the minimum qualifications.

As a bonus, neither she nor I possess a remote chance of developing into the kind of whiney, greedy, self-serving brat-teachers that, unfortunately, has come to represent Springboro's teachers. On the contrary, they don't. In fact, in Springboro schools, whiney, greedy, self-serving brat-teachers make up a minority, albeit an extremely vocal minority.

These whiney, greedy self-serving brat-teachers know exactly who they are. They've become pretty good at suckering members of this community into not only believing but also proselytising their greedy agenda. What this minority of whiney, greedy self-serving brat-teachers is REALLY good at is making absolute idiots out of themselves in front of the entire community at virtually every board meeting.

Will you both be willing to work for about $32K? That's the pay for any starting teachers in Springboro regardless of experience.

Yes, Lurker, I do remember the winning agenda of fiscal responsibility that brought Kelly Kohls to Victory as our most popular school board representative, receiving the most votes of those running in the November 2009 school board election campaign.
Since then, Mrs. Kohls has proven to Springboro taxpayers that fiscal responsibility was not just a "platform" to run on to get elected; but that it was a whole new philosophy of school district leadership and transparent budget reform.
Recently, our school board voted unanimously for our Children's First Budget, celebrating our success, and proving that fiscal responsibility is still the winning agenda for our school children and teachers! Springboro loves our children first!
So, why not run this time for re-election on the winning agenda of fiscal responsibility? Is this not the time for s-u-r-e to unite with all Springboro taxpayers, our school district leaders and board members, committed to working together, ensuring that the children of the Springboro community receive an excellent education while keeping the costs of that education affordable,
by carefully adhering to responsible spending?

Sounds great, according to a couple of teachers I know who are looking for a great place to work offering job security, good wages and benefits, and safe, comfortable working conditions
such as Springboro taxpayers so generously provide our school employees!
Many of us in seeking employment do so while looking at the big picture of opportunity and job satisfaction which doesn't always mean the most money is the most important factor. It's is puzzling
that so much emphasis in Springboro is put on teachers with so much expertise and experience that they come to Springboro expecting higher salaries because the are "experts" in education. This often leads to tunnel vision of experienced educators who start convincing themselves they have arrived, and there is no need to broaden their vision, nor challenge their students beyond the teacher's expertise; while often some teachers because they feel that they not only have something to teach, but something to learn from the teaching experience, and it's not always the most money that brings the best classroom learning experience for students and their teachers!

So, you have a masters degree with 10 years teaching experience and you are ok with the beginning salary of apx.$34K? Because no matter what your experience or level of education, that is what they want to start you at for pay. I think you are just as crazy as they are!!

Number One, who is working for $32,000 as a teacher in Springboro? I looked on the Transparency Project on the 2011-2013 staff report and found no one at that range. Starting salary begins at $34,563 plus what ever supplemental contracts you can garner.

The free market dictates what jobs pay. If an employer pays to low they will find they have no takers for the jobs offered. If an employee demands more than his/her skills are worth they will have no jobs offered.

Another phony argument brought forth by the union

Just because you have a masters degree does not entitle you to more money. The quality of that degree varies widely from your top tiered academically challenging programs to the ones offered online that can be completed in a few months.

If a person decides that they are willing to start at that salary, what business is it of yours to tell them they can't?

A rather apt description base upon Mr Lolli's personal account of the goings on within the district he was supposedly managing. Mr. Lolli in his own words demonstrated no profile in courage but rather fell in line with whatever scheme Mr. Long was proposing.

Not being able to stand up for what is right when you have both the authority and the responsibility to do so is "weak kneed".

See they already got a $2000 raise due to market conditions and they did not need you to achieve such.

By your logic if we give you more money this time these children will become better educated?

Why not really put your children first and teach them yourself? How is that for fiscal responsibility? Failing to parent and pushing that responsibility onto the innocent taxpayer is inexcusable. This board understands that. Why don't you people wake up and start doing what is right for the kids?
