Hearing officer recommends firing Spring Valley cop

After a protracted disciplinary hearing and a report that took nearly three years, a hearing officer has recommended the village board fire Police Officer David Lebron on accusations that include tipping off drug dealers, filing false reports and conduct unbecoming a cop.
