2006 data

Spring ISD Superintendent Ralph H. Draper has an annual base salary of $172,500, according to a Houston Chronicle survey of area superintendents' salaries.
Draper leads the 10th largest district in the region with about 32,343 students, according to Texas Education Agency enrollment data for the 2004-2005 school year.
In addition to his base salary, Draper also gets a $750 a month car allowance,$150 for his cell phone and a health, dental, vision and life insurance package, for which the district pays almost $1,245 monthly.
----------
IN 2012-2013 Draper earned over $230,000. But this well paid individual and his staff could not predict the danger brewing for your children at SHS. A college educated school administrator that cannot simply keep our kids safe. This volcano of fighting and disrespect for authority and disregard for learning by kids that have an agenda other than a good education has been gestating for years and no action has been taken by the SISD Administration. Eyes closed management. Also, we can contact the Governor and your State Senators as they appoint the SISD Board of Trustees that supposedly serve this community. Clean house and fire them all. Enough is enough. ItÂ’s your tax dollars paying their salaries. They are our employees and they have failed miserably at their appointments.

Wrong. The board is elected by the voters of Spring ISD.

We do need to vote the board out. This has been brewing for years now. It was preventable and predictable. But the board does not accept that. In the first board meeting ( that they made available to the public ) two board members ( Smith and Crier ) both stated this was a random act and not predictable. 3000 acts of violence last year in SISD, and 75 weapons taken up last year. Really?- Un-predictable? Hmmm, add to that that these two had words the day before....

Through the lack of their actions, this leadership shows they do not care. The requests of the schools go unanswered. The evidence clearly speaks for itself.

Demand Draper resign, if he does not, call on the board to remove him. If they will not, we vote each current board member out.
