SimplySusan wrote: The Lynch Boys were 3 to begin with, Jimmy, Richie and Paul Ryan. John came much later You are correct! I shared an apartment with Paul Ryan in Fort Lee from 1970 to 76 and carried him home many times from Jimmy Byrnes in Queens and many other venues. They were the best and I am happy to have found this thread :-)

Fitz, whatever happened to Ryan after he split from the Lynch Boys? We all lost touch with him almost immediately. Some in this group may be interested in the Sea Girt Inn Alumni Group on Facebook. Slainte!

Mutt, I found this thread in my search for Ryan. I have not seen him since 1976 and am trying to find him. He bought into a bar in Queens and was still doing music last I heard. This week I plan to contact mutual friends in my search. Will keep you posted here.

My husband & I met at Jimmy Byrnes Sea Girt Inn 41 years ago. We fell in love there, married, have 3 grown children plus grandchildren and are still in love and happily married. I know of other couples who have met there so many years ago and are still going strong. That was the best place for young people to go to have fun, sing, dance, & meet lots of nice people.

They had rock music upstairs and folk/Irish downstairs. Carol Sundrahoff was her name I believe. What DID happen to her - anyone know? "Red Roses For A Blue Lady" :-) finally found someone who remembers dudley's. they were foggy times, but i do remember big al and a really great band named Collection. I trioed to find the church but it seems to be gone. I would appreciate any info you have gluvsatvt@yahoo.com

My father was a bartender at Thensea girt inn in 1974-76. His mick name was Flip and he and his friends called themselves the filthy five or the five easy pieces. Probably a long shot, but would anyone happen to remember them? It's so much fun hearing all the stories from the good old days!

The Sea Girt Inn was great, but in my opinion, it was a runner up to the Bluffs. Many great times there.
