Totally unsatisfied with the care. Went in to get a flu shot, and was asked to pay 25$s.
Then another woman came and said that if I transfered all my care to this clinic then it will be free. Is that flea market or what??

I am afro, was told that they don't accept medicaid and was turned away, whereas my WHITE friend who also has medicaid was accepted the very same day.

That is called doing business. Most doctor's offices will do that.

This practice does accept Medicaid for children of all races 18 years and under. No discrimation is shown based on race or sex. We only have a contract with NC Medicaid to take care of children. This is our only limitation.

I for one, do not believe anyone could possibly say that office is a dump: Sounds as if he was just some jerk, wanting a free Flu shot. He'd have to pay at any Doctoer's oddice, so what was the big deal, that he made it out to be,... So many verbally abusive people in this world, It's hard to comprehend, at times...
IKnow Phillip Lloyd very well, He took care of myself and my Mother for many, many years.... He's so much better than a lot of the Real So-called-Doctor's could ever dream to be.....
I'd rather go to Phillip, more so ever than any Doctor in Sanford or surrounding areas. He is without a dobt, the BEST in his field, and I would still be seeing him, there at Brick City, except that they don't see people, with the type of insurance I have.... Gotta Love Phillip Lloyd!!!!! That's a true statement.... From one of his exes. Give credit where credit is due... He has the biggest heart, Doctor's all over U.S.A. could take some lessons from this wonderful, good hearted man, about some bed-side manners.........

I for one: Do not believe that for one moment. I am White, I have Medicaid, and Plillip was once my PA, and they couldn't get me in to see him ither... Doctor's just starting out a new business, can not except<Medicaid> because the will not pay as much for our care as other's. That's the only reason we were turned away. Give them a break, now that you know the facts...

This is a wonderful practice. I have been going there many years and have encouraged many family members to go also. I consider them friends as well as excellent caregivers. They have gone above and beyond for myself and my family many times; for this I am grateful. We are blessed to have such compassionate, capable people as Dana Garrett and Phillip Lloyd in sanford, n.c.

I am a patient at Helping Hands Clinic where Phillip Lloyd graciously volunteers. I am very grateful for having the good fortune of being treated by Phillip Lloyd. Of all the doctors/PA's I have worked with or been treated by in the past, I will say Phillip Lloyd is one of the best. He is a compassionate, caring, christian man. He is well educated and strives to stay current on medical topics. He listens and takes his time with the patients. He does his best to make sure the patient understands the cause/effect/options of the medical issues. The times I have been to his office, the staff was overwhelmingly helpful & kind.

I wish there were more health care providers like those at Brick City Primary Care. We are lucky to have them here in Sanford.

Phillip is a good PA, his opinions are some times one sided...and will dis-agree with your findings and is stubborn. His practice and bed side manner is good until you dis-agree with him..then you will find out different. He believes he is always right no matter. I know a lot of people that have quit going there for this reason. I have known Phillip and his family most of my life, quick tempered he is..I know of his quick temper by way of means from other things may not be well known. IF things don't go his way it's the highway..This is a fact in his Christian life also as coming from members from his former church I have heard.. He is a talented musician also but attitude is not on his side the nut didn't fall too far from the tree as the saying goes..he gets is honestly..I went to school with Phillip and sometimes it showed there. I was a patient but no more as well as my grand-children will no longer go there as their new doctor dis-agreed with his medication he assigned to them...everybody has their own opinion..and views. He is still a good person.

My mother has used Phillip for several years with no problems at all. My Mom is 87 years old and I have known Phillip a long time. Matter of fact he is family, but that is beside the point, his own views maybe, but aren't we all, nothing wrong with that. Every doctor sees things different, it doesn't make them right or wrong, my doctors are at Duke all of them, and sometimes I don't agree with their views and I tell them, they work it out to the best of their abilities. No one is right totally except one in all of time in all the world over.
