Yes I had heard this. Something about falsifying evidence and lying under oath. He got Caldwell county NC sued. Tried to convict a innocent person by using moonshine drinking dogs! Hope the town manager paid the liability insurance policy this month, looks like we will need the coverage. we get rid of one mess and hire another, politics 1 - o - 1 !!!

Better remind him that
# 1. When you find a missing person's vehicle, that you should search it.
#2. When you find a missing woman murdered, having the rape test done could possibly record the killer's DNA
#3. "Re enactment videos shouldt be presented as evidence in court.
#4. Drunk dogs and drunk dog handlers are probably unreliable.
#5. You should correctly identify and record the name of the star witness that you are going to use in a capitol murder case.
#6. When a missing person's vehicle is found at a public business which has video recorders going 24/7, it would be a great idea to at least attempt to recover the video recordings of the parking lot for the days when the missing persons vehicle was sitting there.
#7. When persons have seen the missing person alive on the days after you believe she died, it would be a great idea to interview those witnesses immediately rather than waiting until just days before the trial against the person you have accused.
I will stop there, even there is much more, because that is most likely more than he can absorb in the first month anyway. Congrats on getting a real top notch dip sh--.

FOLKS HERE IS A EXAMPLE OF WHAT YOU HAVE HIRED FOR 55,000 GRAND PER YEAR!! GOOD LUCK TO YA, YOUR GOING TO NEED IT!!

He's not married now? Was he married in Dec/Jan 2005, when he took holiday vacation during the time Emily Anderson went missing?

Yeah, it's me. I stomp around the Lenoir site now and then. Emily's death is something we're all knee deep in, like it, or not.

I read that Stafford returned from vacation on the 3rd of January. Believe it, or not, I never was sure whether he was married...lol He made the statement that she had been dead from 2 to 4 days, then retracted it, venomously. He stated nutty things like "we had to make sure things were where they were suppose to be", regarding the toolbox. Seems to me, the only way Stafford would have any way to/reason to know anything at all, about Emily's toolbox, is if it would have been opened, in his presence, at one time. For that to have happened, he had to stop her and search the toolbox for some reason, or he's small townzie, like Barney Fife, and he carried her groceries to her truck at one time. Does that sound like the Stafford we all know?? Sounded strange to me then, and still does.

C'mon now...the man went to school to do what investigators do. He allowed Keen, a towtruck driver to take evidence they had collected, back to Lenoir with him. Being as it wasn't much more than a note pad, and a pen...why couldn't they take it back with them? They knowingly, and intentionally compromised the evidence, imo.

Stafford told Keen not to touch the truck on the way back. Why would Keen have reason to touch the truck during transport?

The rape kit...the glasses someone left behind at the motel, etc...all potential evidence (hindsight is 20/20) Stafford downright refused to bring to light...WHY? Then, the crack about that Amy person...got me to wonderin' where Stafford spent his vacation.

Sorry to have tugged at your ear, with old info...but once I get started, I just keep goin'...lol

Nice to see someone from the old pages again. Bye.

It's great to hear from you. I am full of faith that regardless of the mistakes made, the case can and will be solved one day. Did you hear about the Secrest Double Murder case here in Lenoir where a man was arrested in the last few weeks for the double murder. It took twenty years but someone came forward. I hope it doesn't take that long in Ms. Emily's case but you have to believe something will break. Happy Easter to you!

Oh that would be Ayme Morgan, she and Stafford had a fling, she was his secretary. nice gal but she makes poor choices in men, but alot of women do that. I wonder if the deposition Stafford will have to take will be public record, in the lawsuit Anderson has filed? Like to see his answers. I think he thinks since he has ducked out of the county, they want come and get him for this. Hey Curious, did you see who they promoted in his place, Brian Bennett, that poor boy has to get directions to Krispy Kream unless BJ goes with him. Brian claims he has solved a 20 year murder case in the paper now. And yes its a election year. Another photo opp for Alan Jones and the boys. Hide the Krispy Kream box Brian, your wife will be pissed finding out your cheating on the diet. And if you loose that new house in this lawsuit she will be fit to be tied!
