This was my friend. We were waiting for him to come back to Afghanistan so we could all go home together. He will never be forgotten.

Charles ("Bishop" or "CC") was my friend. I just spent last week with him while he was visiting on leave from Afghanistan. Its hard to believe he is gone but I am glad I got to enjoy his presence. I am going to remember him for his smile, his encouraging words and most of all his big heart! He will never be forgotten. R.I.P. my angel!

I didn't know him but he came to the club and I remembered his face because he looked like someone else in there. I feel the police did not do a good job they sent everyone home who was there that saw the shooting. The weekend before there was four fights that stemmed from one fight in the club. The guy that got killed looked just like the guy that was fighting the previous weekend. They need to start from that and also interview everyone that was there. It's sad to say but it seems he was safe in Afghanistan I'm sorry for everyone's lost. I can't begin to imagine how any of you all feel I just knew I felt hurt when I saw him laying there helpless! R.I.P you will 'NEVER EVER' be forgotten!!!!

So did you go to the cops with this information? If not you are just as guilty, to watch him die and cant help it is one thing but to know information and not say nothing is another, and that saying stop snitching is out the window say if it was you family, friend, baby fathers!!!!!!!!!!

i have known charles for many many years and it almost took my breath away when i got the call that he was killed.i had just talked to him a few hours before and made plans for the next day. he was a warm hearted funny man with all the love in the world to offer and for someone to take him away from his family and friends like that kills me. charles was and is one of the funniest and most open hearted people i have ever met and i thank god i got the pleasure of having him cross my path.(you are dearly missed my dear and i will see you when i get there) rest in peace
