So the last three restaurants in that space (the Dollar General strip mall on port royal) tanked quickly. I think this one may do better - Ive been hoping we'd get a neighborhood "joint" and this will be another sit-down place like nearby Tito's. Anyone know when they're opening? The guys that own the liquor and tobacco stores in the same strip mall are opening the restaurant.

oh, the ones with personalities like stop signs? I purposely do not shop in their store if I can help it. They treat you like you are bothering them when you buy something there. I love Titos.. these guys actually care about their customers

I've always perfectly welcomed at their massive liquor/tobacco store. Titos on the other hand is just plain awful. Rude service & luke warm food == a crap place in spring hill. I don't see them lasting long.

I've been there twice! Great food and large servings. It's grill food (not simply bar food); the best Gyro I've ever had and their sweet potato fries are fantastic. They have a stacked club sandwich for $6 bucks that'll feed two people. Nice folks!

If the food is the same as when it was Paprika, I agree with Greywing. My husand and I could split the sandwich and fries and they had a chicken strip kids meal that was a very generous serving for the price. I'll go back.

I hate to admit it but I am at a loss to find or see what the name of this place is...

It's now Neighborhood Bar & Grill located on Port Royal next to Dollar General; used to be Paprika----owned by the same people. Same menu as Paprika.

Oh, it's in the title, I thought that was a description and not actually the name...duh.

Thanks.

Love this place. Great food, large menu, super friendly bartender and servers. Owner and manager are great, they bought us drinks and brought us out several food dishes to try. I highly recommend this place. And they listen to suggestions.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Stan. The food is good, but it's a trashy place.

You're right. I choose not to "party in a big city" and I don't want that atmosphere here. That's why I "live in a small city".
If you enjoy getting into fights when you go out, you may want to consider one of the "big city" gyms that have an MMA program. Then you can have your ars kicked by a semi-pro.
Oh, and no, the short bus won't take you there.

I agree with the "trashy" comments. It does not look like a nice place, good food or not. There is always a few loud, obnoxious, and obviously intoxicated people out front smoking. I stopped by the liquor store to buy a bottle of wine for a dinner party and witnessed a loud group shouting profanities at another friend pulling in...well, trying to pull in a parking place. He must have already had a few drinks before coming, he kept hitting the curb. After a couple of tries, he finally got parked.
