I was deeply concerned when I looked out my window Friday and saw Franklin police, Spring Hill Police, and Drug Task Force surrounding a neighbor's home. I did not personally know this neighbor, but was even more shocked to see the TN Meth Clean up task force there. I've learned from neighbors that it was a Meth house, where apparently it was being made!!!! The house is now surrounded with yellow police tape with signs on the door. I've heard the house may have to be completely torn down to the foundation. Is this REALLY happening in my Williamson County, HOA neighborhood? Can we really have people like this living next to us? Why hasn't this been on the news? Everyone close is aware of this! Why has this not being released to the public? Is Williamson County trying to avoid the publicity? I'm REALLY beginning to wonder about the honesty and safety of Williamson County. I'm disgusted!

"Amber Way and Travis Adams were building a methamphetamine lab at their home on Devon Drive"

Just be thankful that the lab was found before it exploded or the drugs were mass produced to be sold within our community. FYI...Did you see the headline of the local section of the Tennessean that Heroin is know a huge concern. Be aware. There are several good websites out there on how to spot meth labs, meth users, and on the state.tn.us website it tells us all about the products in meth, what effects it has on your body if you breath, touch it, etc. It also tells you about the classification system for cleaning up building contaminated with meth. It gives addresses of houses that have had to be cleaned, statewide. These are only a handful of the ones we know about people. Very Scary!

Despite their illegal activity nobody should judge them. They were very very nice people and would do anything for anyone. Instead of degrading them you should be praying for their children who were removed from the home OR maybe try and reach out to the children in an effort to comfort them. It has nothing to do with being in Williamson County, crime can happen anywhere.

Get real! They certainly weren't very, very nice people! Those children should have been removed from that dope hole long ago. You must be a relative.

Seriously?!?! Nice People or Not! They are bringing crime, drug addicts, danger, etc. into our community! They were BREAKING THE LAW!!!!!!! and putting everyone at risk. They are lucky that the house didn't explode!
I do agree that the children are victims here are victims and we should help the children in any way that we can. As for the parents, how could you make the first comment and follow it up with the second? Were you a loyal customer?

What if I told you to get a life and stop worrying about other peoples problems. They are great parents and would do anything for their kids and just got mixed up in the wrong stuff. Please tell me that once in your life you have never made a mistake speeding, drugs when you were kids, drinking and driving and got away with it. Before you judge people for their life how about you look at your own because you probably have a husband/wife cheating on you, kids running wild and doing this type of stuff too if not your own self or someone close to you. Sitting on this blog posting your comments on something that is clearly not your business you should be paying attention to your own life and how to make it better instead of running down someone elses because you are not as perfect as you think you might be. Put your self in their shoes and how humiliated would you be if something like this happened to you, friends or family. WWJD he said not to judge and to forgive and everyone has the right to be forgiven. Think about their kids in the future when they are reading these degrading comments about their parents and what they have done, this will make them feel degraded and like their parents are nothing. Instead of putting them down we should be finding ways to get them help so they can have a bright future with their children, not running them down on an Internet blog spot. Just think about it and if you can't forgive and keep judging them, we will see how god judges you on your judgement day.

Yep! They were SO nice that they were going to (and obviously have been) selling drugs to those that they care about SO much. "Come over here and buy our drugs so we can help ruin your lives!" Pray to God now??? No thanks. I will instead thank Him for getting them out of that home - and putting those kids where they are safe and have less of a chance to be scarred emotionally. Physically safer too, seeing that they were at a daily risk of being blown up by the crap the irresponsible adults were doing.

Friend of family - Did you know that Tennessee has a Law against Cyber Bulling??? You may want to think about your statements and actions before posting them.

Best of luck to you.

What if I told you that we all have a perfect right to worry about the society we live in? Yeah, they were great parents all right. They destroyed their family because they didn’t care anything about having one. You make it sound as though they were only making candy for other people’s kids. Face facts for once in your life. They were part of the meth drug culture that has ruined the lives of tens of thousands of the poor devils who have gotten hooked on it. The idea that you can actually compare speeding or drinking and driving with the manufacture of drugs is absolutely absurd. You may rant that the rest of us did drugs when we were kids, but it’s a slanderous claim. It is also insulting for you to charge that we all have husbands or wives cheating on us. Speak for yourself.

I hardly expect those kids will be ‘degraded’ in the future should they read these comments. They’ve already lost all their clothes and possessions which are in that house, and which will be destroyed during the cleanup. Once they grow up and can leave the foster homes they are likely already in right now they won’t have too great an opinion of mommy and daddy dearest anyway.

We taxpayer’s and homeowners won’t come out too great either. The law requires a cleanup costing many thousands of dollars before the place can even be entered, much less sold. It will have to be practically given away of course as it will be listed with the remark that it was a meth lab (as required by law). All the neighbor’s homes will lose value after that low-dollar sale.

Taxpayers paid for the investigation, will pay for their lawyers and will then pay to keep them in prison. Those payments to the foster parents will add up too. Send our county a few bucks if you can spare them. Otherwise, see you on Judgment Day.

Maybe a few years behind bars will make them even nicer. They can even attend the cons church services on Sundays.
