TYFA still lists Franklin, Brentwood, and Hendersonville on their website too! That can't be. It's all a huge lie!!!!!! The sky is falling! Run for your lives! Those darn Coyotes are trying to take over the world! We have to stop them!
The Coyote pres is too busy yelling about his kid not playing at half time and counting how many snaps his kid got to put a plan like that together. You are giving him way too much credit.

This thread is like a political election when a weaker candidate is so far behind the front runner they have to start going negative and bash the front runner with everything they can think of because their own message isn't working.

The Coyotes president put his name on the announcement that was released yesterday. Why don't the ones attacking him and the Coyotes do the same?

Man/Woman up and take ownership of your words or go away and let's play some football.

I can’t believe I wasted my time reading these posts, but I did; and if you’re reading this then you did too. All I can say is “WOW!”. After reading this entire thread it is obvious that one ‘group’ is out to completely bash and discredit the other. What I really don’t understand is, WHY! The Spring Hill / Thompson’s Station area is a rapidly growing area, there are definitely enough children to field teams for both leagues. So one group of parents didn’t like what was going on within the original league, big deal! They left and started their own. Seems to me like the league they left should get over it and stop trying to discredit them. AND for those of you that can’t, or won’t, see the truth, the Antioch Falcons, which were members of TYFA (Tennessee Youth Football Alliance) are now members of YFLTN (Youth Football League of Tennessee) http://www.yfltn.com/home.php... . The Spring Hill Coyotes are members of Tennessee Youth Football League (TNYFL). The founding members of the TNYFL include the Coyotes, former Tennessee Youth Football Alliance (TYFA) members Brentwood Blaze, Franklin Cowboys, Hendersonville Titans, and the newly formed Blackman Youth Football and Cheerleading Program.

Don’t you realize how you are making yourselves look? If your original intent was to make people want to play for your league over another, you have turned this into something else. Is this something you would want your children doing? What kind of example are you setting by personal attacks and blatant lies?

I am happy to be a football parent but very saddened by this thread!

If you really care about the kids... I would stop the mudslinging, because your kids will need a place to play when the Raiders fold.

Very well said Wow! I'm glad someone in Spring Hill is intelligent. Let them continue their bashing as they are only hurting themselves but are not smart enough to realize that.

The post above is right. I have children withthe raiders and the coyote announcement yesterday made me so mad I could spit. Not at them, for what they did but at us for what we could have donem we could have merged and moved forward, but our bitterness messed it up. We handed this new league to them on a silver platter by pissing other Tyfa programs off trying to vote them from joining tyfa. Now we are sending families to them by our behavior both in the community and on these damn boards. They improved, we spent our time worrying about them and screwed up. WAKE UP before it is too late if it isn't already.

Yes. The Coyotes president refused to step down if they merged and the Coyotes also had too much debt. That is what I was told. For the record - my daughter has cheered with the Raiders for 3 years and we love it!
So after the coyote anouncement yesterday about being debt free, it seems like we were misled by our own league. Considering what they have going for them, why would they want their pres to step down in order to merge.

I hope that Both programs have a good season. This is the only way that Heritage and Spring Station Middle Schools will have a good group of players to work with as the kids move to middle school football. I was at Spring Station last evening watching my son's practice and I saw former Coyote and Raider players running side by side and helping each other. THAT is what it'S ABOUT. THE KIDS

Cleveland Leatherwood III.
Former University of South Carolina Defensive Back
Former Raiders BB Head Coach
Former Raiders Athletic Director
Parent of Spring Station Middle School Player
Parent of Summit High School Player.

I'll admit that instead of choosing sides we took the easy way out and joined the Brentwood Blaze. Call me a wimp, I can take it! I personally know very good and passionate football parents that are members of both the Raiders and Coyotes organizations. With the formation of this new league it would be great if both sides buried the hatchet and came back together for a new start in a new league. There are a lot of very talented players and if back together they could field some great teams (better than either can field alone) and instead of dividing resources and everyone trying to build their own facilities they could combine their efforts and resources and have a great facility for football. Not to mention having additional resources because some of this bickering has turned potential contributors off and driven them away. It would be great for the community and the kids in my opinion. Best wishes to both programs and the young men who are blessed by the opportunity to play football.

Thank you for clearing that up. The Blackman Blaze seem to be the team causing the confusion. They seem to be listed with both of the "new leagues". Any idea why or which ones they are playing for?

Maybe the raider families and coaches can do what their leadership couldn't by deciding for themselves to merge the two organizations together yet this year by signing up to play with the Coyotes on their new field and in the new league. That way they can leave the bitter and hateful ones who are causing all of the animosity at home with their computers.

And a har dee har har at that. All of the assumption, conjecture and belittling that went on and I feel certain the Coyotes have proven yet again that they have more class than the brow beating that went on here. I received the release yesterday and couldn't help but feel proud that my son is a Coyote. Now let's move on everyone and have great seasons no matter what league we are in. Oh....cannot wait to order a funnel cake at the new high school stadium we will be hosting games in. Man, guess I did get something out of this thread. I now know old school funnel cakes will be sold. Hootie hoo! Best wishes to all of the boys and girls for a successful season.

The Blackman Blaze chose to become founding members of the Tennessee Youth Football League (TNYFL). Their home field will be Blackman High School. The Youth Football League of Tennessee (YFLTN) tried to advertise both the Coyotes and Blackman. This information was incorrect. When it was discovered that the Coyote name was on their website they were contacted and told to remove it, which they did. My guess is that they will be removing Blackman as well.

being from around this area, and seen alot of things, i believe the station hill coyotes football league is probable the best i have ever seen.
with the start of the season at D1 and seeing how all the coaches and parents have become one for the kids, i am proud to be a part of it. i believe they will make my child not only grow as a player but as a person.
thank you to all that is involved.
i really think it is a great league.
When I posted this, I was just talking about my time with the station hill coyotes.
I really hate that all this post has become is a they said or didnt say post.
But I have watched this post, and all the negative things being said about each group (and really, why is the Raiders even brought up in a Coyote post), I regret every day even starting this post.
This is crazy.
I wish everybody the best of luck and hope your child enjoys the days of summer...
But with that....I am very excited that I was right!!!!!
Congrats Spring Hill Coyotes.....
you are the better person and league as far as im concerned.

You people just don't get it. This entire thread has been written by Coyote parents in a clever scheme to make the Raiders look like the bad guys.
Truth is, the Coyotes were desperate. Mr. Downing was told point-blank that if they did not get out of MSYFL there would be no Coyotes this year. Many Coyote families were already planning on going to the Cowboys. In a feeble attempt to merge with the Raiders, by which Paul was not willing to make any concessions, they jumped into bed with the Cowboys. Lots of promises were made. Do you think for one minute, TYFA would let both Franklin and Brentwood walk. NO WAY!!! This new league TNYLF or YFLTN, is nothing but a scam. Neither exists. A 4 community league. Come on, think about that one for a minute. At the next TYFA meeting, another vote will be placed, only this time, the Coyotes will be voted in, simply because of the threat of it's 2 largest communities leaving. The Coyotes will be placed in the medium conferencce. Within a couple of years, a merge will take place between the Raiders and the Coyotes. But this will not take place until both existing boards are gone and more level minded adults are running the leagues. Only then, will Spring Hill have a decent youth football organization.

As you have seen, I have not bashed either side. There are several good, caring coaches in both leagues. Guys who only want to see our young people succeed. Several who only want to teach the game. They do not live by winning is the only thing. Youth football is about learning the game. These kids will get the pressure of winning when they get to high school.

Oh yes, Mr. Cleveland, kids also play football in Maury County, not just Williamson. Maybe you have heard of Spring Hill Middle and Spring Hill High School.

For 1, I will be excited when Spring Hill has several powerhouse teams who can compete with anybody.

If I have offended anyone with my comments, I am truly sorry. Do I have any proof of what I believe will happen. No, it's just my beliefs.

Thanks and here's hoping all teams have great seasons.

Does the new league have a website? Have any of the other teams announced that they are in the new league? This is pretty suspicous and its so close to the season starting.
