being from around this area, and seen alot of things, i believe the station hill coyotes football league is probable the best i have ever seen.
with the start of the season at D1 and seeing how all the coaches and parents have become one for the kids, i am proud to be a part of it. i believe they will make my child not only grow as a player but as a person.
thank you to all that is involved.
i really think it is a great league.

This is our first experience with football but so far we are having fun and he says he is learning. My daughter is also enjoying cheering with the league.
I hope the momentum of oneness continues because that creates a great atmosphere for the boys to excel.
Everyone is so personable and the kids are having fun and learning at the same time. It's awesome.

I have to completely disagree. This is not a real organized team and people will quickly see that. So far, not a pleasant experience. Not impressed at all. I have seen MUCH better groups out there. So far, the Coyotes is not it! My kids have played in other cities and other leagues for years and this one has ALOT of work to do.

being a first year, i think they are doing pretty good, by what you said " My kids have played in other cities and other leagues for years", you have not been happy at any time. i would hope you give them a chance.

I have to tell you I couldn't agree more. It is very organized and you can just feel the energy!

I agree with "Just Me"
This is far from an organized league.
This is only our second stop and we switched to this new league based on stories we were told by people in charge.
We were lied to and will make a change next season. I do not teach my boys to quit on anything so we will quietly see this year through and go back. My only word of advice is to have your act together before trying to take on something like this. There is much work that goes into running a league and you are clearly not up to it.

nope , there's just 0 tolerance for certain things that don't belong in youth athletics. there are several Franklin kids on my sons team and they are welcomed by us parents and according to them they "love it here".

No worries. Ultimately people are going to do what they are going to do. If they have the childrens best interest in mind then the difference is as clear as night and day. Our former league did a great job of sorting through the nonsense and dealing with coaches that were not focused on the kids. I only wish I had seen that sooner. I guess everyone likes the shiny new penny when they see it. Back to Evans Park for my family next year.

I find all of the people involved with the Raiders teams APPAULING including Jim Gatter and his croonies!! We soent one season with him and it was awful..he coaches his select "FEW" and everyone else is left lke dog food! Also he only coaches his own son..I didn't pay to watch him his out of shape kid up and holler at everyone else. This is a REC league and that's why so many people left..a friend of mine said her son's coach let him sit out a WHOLE game after they drove all the way to Smyrna and then told her that he DIDN'T know how to tackle...HELLO what's the 7 coaches that are out there doing all night?? Let me see coaching their own kids and not the others. That seems to be the trend with this league....

The reason for organized sports is to build the character of YOUNG men not to make them feel like unworthy of play time at the age of 6 and 7...you've got to be kidding me. A good number of these coaches need to re-examine their motives for being out there...stay home if your only in it for your kids sake...its a TEAM sport not tennis!

Well I for one applaud the folks involved with the Raiders for not responding to this nonsense.
Anyone that gets on a public forum and calls out a specific person by name (not an elected official) should be ashamed of themselves. As if that was not enough this ignorant and hateful person decides to talk about a child and call him names. Clearly this person is no Christian. There is a place that has now been reserved for you and you better pack light for the heat.

So, enough is enough. The rest of my Raider family is better than I because we all have kept our mouth shut with all this coyote crap for 2 years. But i gotta say As usual, a nameless person from coyotes throws out some raging untrue statement. last season was my sons second year playing for Jim and for the 2nd year we finished around .500. I coached peewee 2 years ago and we made it to the TYFA state championship(not to be confused with a pay to play "tournament",,,,decl ared a "national championship") and lost to Goodletsville. My kid probably had more FUN last year playing for Jim than the championship for me. My point is that you are off base with your accusations of Jim and our LEAGUE, I coached with jim last year and am definately not a "croanie". Fact, he spent less time coaching his kid than anyone on the offense, he does not yell at the kids, which i felt he could've done more of myself but he enjoys being "buddies" with ALL the kids. And for his boy, he speaks like 10 words at practice, you gotta MAKE that boy talk in practice. And fact is ALL coaches play the BEST kids, which in most cases are the coaches kids so if you want something different maybe go to flag fball,or soccer? that IS rec league, we are not. NO team had 7 coaches. As usual you say "i heard, or "another parent told me"; maybe the kid din't come to practice that week? or the week before that? if it's true at all, I thought all those coaches were told to leave or left after they started another league while sitting on our board?? What you did and said about a 9 year old boy was totally classless and COWARDLY. But we have come to expect nothing less from ya'll up there trying to get a league going by trickery, lies, and BS. We will keep on taking the high road and like already this year.....watch families return to the Raiders. So you see how i did that, i spoke truth, didn't slander a little boy, backed it up ........and now you know who I am....it's called being a MAN. or woman in your case, i guess?

oh yea, I better clarify!!!! so this isn't spread around that "the raiders let loose on the coyotes on topix". I speak for me, just another parent of a RAIDER.

WOW!!! That was wrong of you to take a child down because of your own issues. I hope you have just as much boldness to tell that boy sorry. You talk about "The reason for organized sports is to build the character of YOUNG men" but yet tear them apart yourself. Very sad for the children in your life.

We have been comparing teams for our son and had the chance to talk to families from both teams. The coyote's just talked about the Raiders being so bad and the Raiders talked about my son and how to get him plugged in. So we tried the camp. Mom from Spring Hill-THEY WERE GREAT!!!! All coaches had sons there and my son had all coach attention. He learned so much AND had fun. I got to meet this coach Jim you talked about too and he is funny, smart and a great teacher. Other parents picking up their kids that come every year love him. They said he was one of the best coaches. My son never played sports and he left that week a football player. I was impressed. We will be a Raider family.

Thanks Raiders!!!!

Oh, I met the boy you spoke of too. He is polite, kind and helpful to my son.
