Man Eaten by Pit-Bull Puppies

There is always negative publicity about "pitbulls". I own an Amstaff Terrier a close relation to the "pitbull". The other day I was at Saluda Shoals and a lady who had no authority at the park told me "pitbulls" werent allowed.(which they are) to make a long story short, you guys should run a story about some of the "pitbulls" that do amazing things. Dogs will be dogs and if the man was dead and they haven't eaten in days, they are going to resort back to instinct. They probally weren't pitbulls anyways!!!!

What a dummy, you should never mix xanax with alchohol. Or even drink so much for that matter. They are just puppies, regardless of what kind of dogs they are, if they have not been fed in a while and the man is dead, obviously he had to be dead already otherwise I'm sure even a drunk could fight off a bunch of little puppies, anyway the resort to instinct and eat. That's nature.

Everyone makes bulldogs out to be these horrible animals, any animal even human beings starving would do this, they were probably hungry and there is no telling when the last time they were fed! So why do we pin point in saying "bull dog" puppies. There was another incident as I recal that this happened to and it was a lab. What justification do people get out of dividing these animals. Its not the breed of the dog its the treatment they receive,with everything said about bull dogs they are now the primary ones that are euthenized in a dog pound because people are terrified of them any dog will be mean if it is mis treated just as a human would be. We are the ones that make these animals out to be furocious if you keep them on a chain and feed them bloody meat, those puppies are probably the sweetest little things and innocent doing what came to their first instinct.

So..if you die at home of say, a mixing of drugs and booze, or say you chocke to death, or fall and die. Let's say you're by yourself, and your pets start chewing on your face.... now they have to be euthanized because they got a taste of human flesh? And just how old were these puppies??

We all know you are not supposed to mix xanax with alcohol.

You people are amazing! This is Dan's daughter in law. His son is still grieving because his FATHER died less than 72hrs ago and you pieces of crap are talking all this slander about him. No one knows what really happen! All this story isn't the truth! This story is incorrect, and needs to be retracted. The facts are as follows:
Daniel loved those puppies very much, he took care of them everyday for the last 6 weeks. Yea, thats right, these "vicious" pit bulls are only 6 weeks old!(the lies told in this story are amazing) They were NOT starving. These puppies were fed 4 times a day... by DAn! He was not an irresponsible pet owner. He cared VERY much for his dogs. He would've gone hungry to be sure he had food for his dogs! Dan was not an alcoholic the way this story makes him out to be. He drank, he was a 43 year old man. There was no problem with that. Monday night Dan went out to a local pub for a FEW drinks, when he returned home he was feeling unwell, and went to bed. The puppies who "maliciously ate their owner" had no blood on them! With all the blood in the room there would've been paw prints, blood on the puppies or some evidence of 'meat' in the room. There was none. These puppies; no matter the breed; didnt know any better. Anyone with a puppy has been woken up by the puppy biting them, scratching them or something. The puppies had to go potty and were trying to wake up Dan. They knew no beter, they just wanted their 'daddy' to wake up and play with them.
So until someone on here has something nice to say about my father-in-law you can all shut your mouths. Have a little respect for the dead, let him rest in peace. He loved everyone, had no problems with anyone. Daniel would've given the shirt off his back to a perfect stranger if he thought it would make them more comfortable. He was a wonderful person, beloved and will be missed.
You want a suspect to run with; look in Daniel's mothers direction. A nurse, at Nurse's Choice Nursing Home; used to bring home an assortment of pills for her son. Telling him some were for him to sleep better, some were for the mild case of depression he was suffering from, and a number of other things she told him. Giving him blood pressure medicine, and thyroid medicine. "Synthroid" Daniel had nothing wrong with his heart or his thyroid... until his mother started feeding him multiple pills. Daniel trusted his mother; and she fed him his death. You want someone to investigate and look into; start with Melanie!
The puppies are safe, no animal control has come to even get the puppies. They are still in our possesion. They will NOT be euthanized!

The "friend" that found him was his 21 year old only son! He knew nothing and had nothing to do with it. That you would even insinuate so is disgusting. He is grieving for the loss of his father less than 72hrs ago... and you people have absolutely nothing nice to say about the situation. So mind your mothers and "if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all"

When this story hit there was no mention of who the "friend" was or that it was a family member. Sorry for his loss, but STILL SOUNDS FISHY TO ME. People do horrible things to family members all of the time and try to cover things up with bogus stories. I don't know what really happened here. Like most everyone else, I have to go by what the story said and TO ME the story sounded and still does sound fishy. Geez... if you don't want to hear un-nice things then maybe you should hang out with your mother more often (So mind your mothers and "if you dont have something nice to say, dont say anything at all") and stay off the post boards because guess what... whether you like it or not... whether you think it isn't nice or not... people post their opinions... that's what this is here for.
