the new restaurant on Deltona Blvd. formerly Cara Mia's, on the corner by the Post Office? I got a copy of their menu and looks like you have to have deep pockets to eat there, the average meal is around $22.00 per person. Pasta average $15.00, I assume reservations are required since they only seat about 30 people. There is a Sunday Brunch buffet for $15.00 per person, 10AM to 2PM, they are closed Mon. Tues. and hours 4PM to 9PM. Just curious who would spend $50.00 for a meal.

The name is Chateau Rose, it only seats 30 so I would recommend reservations. They have a variety of dishes, Lamb, Pork, Chicken, Pasta ($14.50 for 5 Ravioli's is a little much) Seafood, be prepared to wait as everything is cooked fresh. According to what I read, two guys worked in Tampa and got tied of the commute.

It is called fine dining, elegant atmosphere and delicious food right. Try the Spinach Ravioli or the Filet Mignon-all were delicious. Have the cheesecake or key-lime pie for desert.

As usual, the forum a-holes have made their opinions without ever stepping inside the place. Typical.

If the food is good and people want to spend the money they have every right, I haven't eaten there so I can't pass judgement. Good luck to them.

And they will last a few months and then close. When you open a restaurant you need to know your demographics. This is an area of mostly retired blue collar workers and working class people.

Anitas was another example, they lasted 6 months. The food was good but you're in the wrong area. Now it is a sucessful sports bar offering low priced food.

This is now the third restaurant at this location in just the last few years, before it was Cara Mias it was high priced Greek restaurant, they went on vacation and never came back.
