Dog walking on the Nature Trail

We are part-time residents in Timber Pines and we own a small dog. We walk our dog frequently and are extremely diligent about cleaning up after him. Recently, we noticed the new signs which state that dogs are not allowed on the Nature Trails. We find this unfair and ridiculous. We were told that the Nature Trail is for walkers and bicyclers. We have lived here and walked our dog here for 4+ years and have never seen a bicyclist on the Nature Trails.
Please reconsider this rule, take down the signs, and let us enjoy the Nature Trail with our beloved pets.

If anyone should be enjoying those nature trails it should be pets and their walkers. I find it absurd that this would be for anything other than animals having a place to enjoy nature.
