I'm sorry- what does a doctorate in "educational leadership" really entail?

What first hand knowledge do you have of RLASD that makes you qualified to make an off the cuff comment like that?

I have a masters in Educational Leadership. I took courses on school law, school finance, Supervision and Evaluation, school psychology, just to name a few. I wrote paper, after paper, after paper. I took exams, I studied, I read journals, and did I mention I wrote papers? Hours and hours and hours of research. I also did 2 internships before receiving my certificate. A doctorateis all of this and much more, including writing a dissertation...all while working full time. Now you know.

Perhaps there is some shred of hope for improving education quality in this listless, lost district.

He has apparently done his homework, something the kids at Red Lion could take an example from. Red Lion's PSSA scores are 2nd lowest in the count, and if York High weren't in existence, they'd have the "dead last" title all to themselves.

Show my how Red Lion's scores are the seconf low in the county? Do you know what the scores mean? Are you talking % of students advanced and proficient? Are you talking about all schools and all grade levels? Red Lion had a problem because their sub groups of economically disadvantaged ,which Red Lion has a lot of, they are the second largest population and largest land mass of schools in the county, or their large group of special education students who are tested at the same level of regular students. As a Red Lion parent I am happy with teh education my child is given right now, I hope the new superintendent can keep the ball rolling and raise continue to raise the education bar, we don't need anymore of those Red Neck old school Red Lion grads like Mr. Nasty to be part of our population any more. I bet he is one of those guys who has a special sheep friend in the barn!

I was shocked to see what his salary is going to be. Every school district is tring to cut the fat to make their meet their budgets. I bet he isn't worried one bit if his new job will be under the microscope. We'll have to take the pay freeze and maybe struggle here and there but thats ok, he can live a worry free life style.

Spend one week in ANY school system in the ENTIRE U.S. of A. and you may learn something about a 'worry free life style"! Till then, lay off the postin' and get back to work! You missed a turd behind the crapper in stall #2 at Wendy's! But as you would say, keep on "TRING"! Come to think of it, you would make a most perfect school board member; run immediately! Oh my!

we had too many of these overpaid SI at spring grove anyway. I think we have four left. No wonder our taxes are so high.. then the unions want to bust on Gov Corbett for trying to cut costs when these greedy union teachers are the culprit for the high school taxes in PA. GO GOV- Bust the unions and save the middle class
