Only like number 3 or 4 in the last several weeks. How very frustrating for those there to teach and learn!

Enough is enough. I think this is the 4th bomb scare that I am aware of. Catch the idiots already ...

Since this would be the 4th "threat" how come this one was taken to such extremes? The other three times we just left the building and went back in when it was cleared. Now we are being sent home. Siblings weren't even allowed to go home with each other since only drivers were released. They were stopping cars and taking out passengers. I'm sorry but if this was just another one of the "threats" then how come it was so much more panicked then the last three times.
And also if who ever is doing this is reading this comment. You are a complete idiot and if you get caught, which you most likely will, you have ruined your life. why?

Because everytime someone says "Boo" we are going to jump expecting retaliation for the assassination of OBL.

Agreed, I would much rather send my child to York High. They have metal detectors (???), constant hall monitors and police driving around the building before/after classes! Please enlighten us on just how one catches these supreme idiots? Sounds so very simple doesn't it???

Administration should add all this time up and pin it on to the end of the school year. I bet you won't get another threat then!!!

Spring Grove does have a security officer all the time walking the halls. I think they should buy a metal detector immediately. After the rumors I have heard the school should take EXTREME action to keep our kids safe. Today was very scary for everyone and I am really thinking about not sending my kid to school tomorrow. I hope they find out who is doing these sick childish games.Grow up and get a real life!!!

The cops and the teachers wouldnt let some of the kids go because the people who were picking them up weren't on their emergncy contact list. It was kind of dumb and i asked a teacher what was going on and he couldnt tell me, he also said that staff wasn't allowed to go get their cars because they weren't fully done checking the school. So they were stuck down there longer than we were. They filled up the gym and they also tried to put us in the old cafe's. Then they made us go into the lgla. But, there is a couple things i heard, like the kid that's been doing all of the bomb threats, and that the FBI actually found someting this time like a package that had the bomb or information about the bomb in it. And the bomb was suppose to go off at 1:30 p.m.

Perhaps you should go to school with your child. Your might get more out of it than the kid.

You should most definitely be an announcer for SOME major news organization. Haven't heard this much bull$hit since the weekend (continuing) with "Binnys" burial at sea! And you/or your parents would have been the first to bitch if NOTHING were done. Stuff happens in this very strange world...handle it....handle it! Parents, lock you kids in the cellar and home school them; God forbid, don't won't the kids to be complete idiots like their scaredy cat parents. Everyone needs a time out, then some takin' of name and kickin' of a$$es. The most hilarious of all comments; extend the school calendar for these lost hours. The clowns doing this wouldn't go to school those days anyway; yep, some punishment. Grin and bare it! As I've always said, "Just spend one month in ANY school district in the U.S. of A." Been there, done that! Just one more very MINOR problem...yep, the FBI involved! Oh my!

Calm down people! Spring Grove HS has GREAT administrators, No, I would not send my kid to York High over SG tomorrow or any other school in or out of the county or any other day. They (the administration) evacuated your kids. They are home safe and sound with you tonight. So it was inconvenient, so is going to the morgue to identify your kid. Try being in a true lockdown in YCSD for hours with the SWAT team running through your building going room by room. Guess what I felt safe that day too because like SG, YCSD has some good quality people. Someone at SG obviously has issues. As to why this one was more drastic there may be something else involved that the district is not releasing due to the on going investigation. Or other safety concerns outside the building. It sounds like good police work to me. Besides what ever you tell YDR they usually get it wrong.

york high is much worse then SG. Sometimes the bullying gets way out of hand. at least here to see any type of bullying is very rare and if it does happen then it is handled with. and metal dectors wont stop anything.

Honey dearest (female or male): Ha! Now I will possibly be monitored and put on the perv list for calling you dearest. Your present problems concerning this particular case are so very miniscule, it is hardly worth mentioning. But...as previously mentioned, none of us know the actual severity of the problem. And if you cannot handle these minor disruptions in your youthful life, you ain't seen anything yet baby! Man handle students; if you would have followed rules/directions, you would not have had to be forcefully (man handled as you state)out of a vehicle. You need to see a psychologist/psychiatrist, immediately, or sooner! You others, please spend just one month in ANY school district, in any grade, in the entirety of the U.S.A.

Because if you ANNOUNCE the punishment, this turd most likely will not like it and might possibly stop doing this. I know this time administration and the police department are not playing games, they are interviewing students and taking names. Hope this crap is over for the students and staff at SG!

I heard that the reason it was taken to such extremes this time is because the message said this time that there would be machine guns down at the football field. That's why all other students were taken to the old Middle School. Also the FBI was there this time.
