i did not know that district justices worked on a "how to and what to do list"

if you drive 27 mph in a 25 mph zone answer 1 $200 judgment
if you drive 30 mph in a 25 mph zone answer 2 $500 judgment
if you drive 28 mph in a 25 mph zone answer 1 refer to 27 mph zone

What part of this article makes this guy think that he is even remotely qualified? We don't need our house sprayed for cockroaches. We don't need a shed built for our lawnmower. What skills? Faxing papers from the county jail? Oh PLEASE!

30 in a 25 would be 119.50 and was definitely a break cut by the person who issued the ticket from a higher speed, and it carries 0 points.

Take it from someone who will be getting one of these seats you must be going 10 or more over the posted speed limit in a speed zone under 55MPH over 55 MPH at least 6 over to even be isssued a citation per title 75 which is also known as the vehicle code. I do agree though that he is not qualified at all! Developing relations with constables is nothing! How about knowledge of what the job even is or does?

hey mr wanna be district justice-here are some tips. local cops must allow 10 mph if using electronic devices, Troopers must allow 6mph if using radar, any cop using their speedometer to pace a car can write for 1 mph over the limit. Going over or under 55 mph has nothing to do with anything??

Since you are going to be getting one of these spots please identify yourself, voters deserve to know who you are, especially based on your inaccurate information.

Its one thing to get elected and its another thing to pass the state education school for qualification to serve an district judge.. Damn hard school, many flunk out so before you quit your $25.00 plus per hour job you better be sure you can cut the mustard....

Another guy who has only a very NARROW area of knowledge for a position that requires a BROAD area of knowledge.

Working in a prison handling documents sent to them by a MDJ is barely worth mentioning.

CO's dont USE the law , dont conduct investigations ( beyond a low level internal ) as criminal charges at a jail are handled by the State Police. They dont attend or participate in preliminary hearings.

They might be standing nearby when an inmate is getting arraigned by video machine but an arraignment is only a reading of the charges, not a trial.

This guy will have a lot to learn in order to even begin to be familiar with the laws that a MDJ has to know.

Only cops and lawyers have any real experience in using the laws and going to court on a regular basis.

I was told the MDJ school is very hard and to go without any knowledge of the laws would seem to be a huge obstacle.
